Dielectric composition and electronic component
A dielectric composition includes a main phase and a Ca—Si—P—O segregation phase. The main phase includes a main component expressed by ABO.sub.3. “A” includes at least one selected from calcium and strontium. “B” includes at least one selected from zirconium, titanium, hafnium, and manganese. The Ca—Si—P—O segregation phase includes at least calcium, silicon, and phosphorus.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A CERAMIC MOULDED BODY
The invention relates to a method for producing a ceramic moulded body, comprising the following steps: a) producing a green body containing ceramic material, binding agents and an organic pore forming agent; b) heating the green body to a temperature equal to or higher than the sublimation temperature of the pore forming agent; c) burning the green body to form a ceramic moulded body. According to the invention that the organic pore forming agent is selected from the group consisting of dicarboxylic acids and mixtures of dicarboxylic acids, the sublimation temperature being at least 80 k lower than the decomposition temperature.

The step of applying the tackifier includes one of a spraying, pipetting, painting, and immersing technique.

A method of manufacturing ceramic tape includes a step of directing a tape of partially-sintered ceramic into a furnace. The tape is partially-sintered such that grains of the ceramic are fused to one another yet the tape still includes at least 10% porosity by volume, where the porosity refers to volume of the tape unoccupied by the ceramic. The method further includes steps of conveying the tape through the furnace and further sintering the tape as the tape is conveyed through the furnace. The porosity of the tape decreases during the further sintering step.

A cubic boron nitride sintered material includes: more than or equal to 20 volume % and less than 80 volume % of cubic boron nitride grains; and more than 20 volume % and less than or equal to 80 volume % of a binder phase, and when a carbon content is measured from a cubic boron nitride grain into the binder phase in a direction perpendicular to an interface between the cubic boron nitride grain and the binder phase using TEM-EDX, a first region having a carbon content larger than an average value of a carbon content of the binder phase exists, the interface exists in the first region, and a length of the first region is more than or equal to 0.1 nm and less than or equal to 10 nm.
