Body Cavity Access Device
20220346821 · 2022-11-03 ·

A handheld body cavity access device includes a handle having a distal end, a proximal end, a longitudinal axis, and a cavity. A dilator assembly has a proximal end coupled to the handle and a distal end. A blade assembly is at least partially disposed within the dilator assembly and has a proximal end, a distal end, and a blade hub coupled to the proximal end and disposed in the cavity of the handle. The dilator assembly is movable axially between a retracted position, in which a distal end of the blade assembly extends from the distal end of the dilator assembly, and an extended position, in which the distal end of the blade assembly is covered by the distal end of the dilator assembly. The blade hub includes a body defining a bore aligned with the longitudinal axis and a tab extending away from the longitudinal axis.

Medical Devices That Include a Trigger Assembly for a Rotatable Catheter and Methods of Use
20230034746 · 2023-02-02 · ·

Medical devices that include a trigger assembly for a rotatable catheter and methods of use are described. An example medical device includes a housing, a catheter, a drive assembly, and a trigger assembly. The trigger assembly is partially disposed within the housing and includes a trigger, a drive initiator, a drive member, a flip drive, and a biasing member. The trigger is moveable between a first position and a second position relative to the housing. The flip drive is moveable between a neutral position, a first drive position, and a second drive position. The drive assembly moves relative to the housing when the flip drive is in the first drive position and the trigger is moved from its first position to its second position.

Colpotomy cup assembly

A medical device for performing a hysterectomy is provided. The medical device has a tissue incision assembly that includes a first cup nested within a second cup. The tissue incision assembly also includes a spacer assembly between the first cup and the second cup in order to maintain a spacing between the first and second cups. The tissue incision assembly also has a cutting implement that has a portion extending between, and movable with respect to, the first and second cups. The cutting implement can provide a circular cut guided via the spacing between the first and second cups.

SYSTEMS FOR TREATING TISSUE

Systems and methods for treating cellulite including an apparatus that applies or a method involving separating septa to eliminate or reduce the appearance of cellulite. In one approach, an interventional tool is placed between tissue layers to engage and treat septa connecting tissue layers between which fat deposits are contained.

SCISSORS FOR ENDOSCOPE

The drive system may be adapted to operate a tool in direct contact with human matter of a patient at a treatment site. The device may also include a suction system integrated into the drive system and configured to remove human matter from the treatment site. The device may also include a motor removably attached to the housing and configured for delivering rotational power to the drive system while avoiding contact with the human matter.

Osteotome with a distal portion for simultaneous advancement and articulation
11607230 · 2023-03-21 · ·

Medical devices for creating or expanding a cavity within bone of a patient are disclosed. In some circumstances, a medical device, such as an osteotome is designed to facilitate simultaneous advancement and articulation of a distal portion of the osteotome. Simultaneous advancement and articulation of the distal portion may reduce one or more forces on the distal portion of the osteotome relative to other methods in which advancement and articulation are separated in time, thereby decreasing the risk of breakage or other damage to the osteotome.
