The present invention relates to a device to guide incisions in penile surgery comprising an auxetic EVA sheet (1) that is fixed in the penile corpora cavernosa, said device having star-shaped perforations (2) that create a triangle rotated system, which allows to make specific micro incisions in the penile corpora cavernosa, generating simultaneous two-dimensional expansion of the tunica albuginea, providing a real increase in length and diameter (girth), in addition to correcting any other type of penile deformity, like penile curvature.

DEVICES AND METHODS FOR REDUCING THE APPEARANCE OF CELLULITE

Disclosed herein are methods and devices for the treatment of cellulite. The methods comprise cutting the septae connecting the dermis from the underlying fascia, reducing the appearance of dimples and applying a patch to the skin over the cut septae to hold in place or remodel the skin to allow it to heal in the desired shape and to minimize the recurrence of dimples.

An electromechanical surgical system having an instrument housing for connecting with a shaft assembly, a shaft assembly, and an end effector. The end effector is an articulating end effector and the system includes a cable tensioning system for tensioning the articulation cables. The system includes a clutch mechanism for preventing slippage of a drive cable.

SURGICAL STAPLER BUTTRESS WITH VARIABLE LENGTH FEATURE

An assembly includes an applicator, which includes a housing defining a gap configured to receive an end effector jaw of a surgical stapler. The applicator also includes a platform positioned within the gap. The assembly also includes a buttress assembly having a first length and positioned on the platform. The assembly further includes a trimming feature presented by the applicator or the buttress assembly, and configured to facilitate trimming of the buttress assembly from the first length to a predetermined second length.

DEVICE FOR USE IN LAPAROSCOPIC SURGERY AND METHOD OF USE

A device for use in laparoscopic surgery is provided. The device has a plurality of telescoping sections positioned in and movable relative to a protective sheath between an extended configuration, wherein a body section of a first one of the telescoping sections is spaced apart from a body section of a second one of the telescoping sections, and a retracted configuration wherein the body section of the first one of the telescoping sections is in contact with the body section of the second one of the telescoping sections. A tissue interaction portion is configured to interact with tissue in response to the manipulation of a device actuator.

Motorized surgical stapling system including a sensing array

A surgical stapling system for treating tissue of a patient is disclosed. The surgical stapling system comprises an end effector, a firing member, a motor, a RF transceiver configured to transmit RF signals, and a sensing array. The end effector comprises an elongate channel, an anvil rotatable relative to the elongate channel from an open position toward a closed position, and a staple cartridge removably positioned in the elongate channel. The staple cartridge comprises a plurality of staples removably stored therein. The firing member is movable between an unfired position and a fired position. The staples are deployed from the staple cartridge based on the firing member being moved toward the fired position. The motor is configured to drive the firing member toward the fired position. The sensing array is configured to sense compression of the tissue, properties of the tissue, and a presence of metallic elements within the tissue.

Systems and methods can remove material of interest, including blood clots, from a body region, including but not limited to the circulatory system for the treatment of pulmonary embolism (PE), deep vein thrombosis (DVT), cerebrovascular embolism, and other vascular occlusions.

SURGICAL GUIDE AND METHOD OF USE

A surgical guide and methods of using the surgical guide are disclosed. The surgical guide includes a body having a first side and a second side. An adhesive material is disposed over at least a portion of the first side. A radiopaque guide element coupled to a second side of the body and an incision guard defines an opening extending from the first side to the second side of the body. The incision guard is sized and configured to receive a surgical instrument therethrough such that the incision guard prevents contact between the surgical instrument and a portion of a surgical site adjacent to the opening.

Motor-driven surgical cutting instrument

A motor-driven surgical cutting and fastening instrument that comprises an end effector, an electric motor, and a motor control circuit. The motor control circuit is for monitoring a parameter of the electric motor that is indicative of movement of a moveable member of the end effector, and for adjustably controlling the electric motor based on the monitored parameter to thereby adjustably control movement of the moveable member of the end effector during forward rotation of the electric motor.
