COATING SYSTEM FOR FIBER CEMENT ARTICLES
A coating system which provides a stain finish on a fiber cement building article. The coating system comprising a sealing agent, a basecoat and a topcoat, wherein the coating system is disposed on at least one surface of the fiber cement building article whereby the sealing agent is disposed adjacent to the at least one surface of the fiber cement building article, the basecoat is disposed on the sealing agent remote from the surface of the fiber cement building article and the topcoat is disposed on the basecoat remote from the fiber cement building article.
Coating systems for cement composite articles
A method for making a coating composition by mixing one or more latex polymers and an aliphatic epoxy resin system having an epoxy equivalent weight less than 1000 and being distinct from the one or more latex polymers to provide an aqueous first component, and providing a second component having reactive groups that can react with the one or more epoxy resins. A mixture of the first and second components provides a film-forming curable coating composition that may be used on substrates including cement, cement fiberboard, wood, metal, plastic, ceramic, glass and composites.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING BUILDING MATERIAL
A method for producing a building material includes a first step of applying a first ultraviolet-curable paint onto an inorganic material containing a woody reinforcement and incompletely curing the first ultraviolet-curable paint, a second step of applying a second ultraviolet-curable paint and completely curing the second ultraviolet-curable paint, a third step of polishing the completely cured second ultraviolet-curable paint to smoothen a surface of the completely cured second ultraviolet-curable paint, and a fourth step of applying an enamel paint and curing the enamel paint. In the second step, the second ultraviolet-curable paint is applied while the first ultraviolet-curable paint is incompletely cured.

STRUCTURE PROTECTION SHEET AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING REINFORCED STRUCTURE
Provided is a structure protection sheet that allows for significant shortening of the work period required to place the protection sheet on the surface of a structure such as a concrete structure, that can protect the structure over a long period of time, and that further has excellent strength properties. The structure protection sheet is a sheet to be attached to the surface of a structure and includes, in order, a bonding layer, a polymer-cement hardened layer, and a resin layer.
Polymeric composition for cement based substructures
The present invention is directed to a composition capable of inhibiting moisture vapor emission from concrete structures and enhancing adhesion of a finish material to the concrete structure comprising an aqueous mixture of a first copolymer of mer units formed from vinylidene halide and a C1-C2 alkyl acrylate with a second copolymer of mer units formed from vinylidene halide and a C4-CS alkyl acrylate and to the method of forming a moisture barrier/adhesion promoter coating on concrete comprising applying from 2.8 to 5.6 liters (0.75 to 1.5 gallons) of an aqueous carrier having from 10 to 50 weight percent of the mixture of copolymers stated above per 14 m2 (150 square feet) of the free surface of a concrete structure.
