Gypsum composition for dry-curing coating material, gypsum-based coating material, and construction method for gypsum-based coating material
There is provided a gypsum composition for a drying type coating material, the gypsum composition, when made into a gypsum-based coating material by addition of water, capable of forming a coating film in which color unevenness is suppressed even though the coating film is thin and smooth. This gypsum composition for a drying type coating material contains hemihydrate gypsum having a mean particle diameter of 50 m or less, calcium carbonate having a mean particle diameter of 50 m or less, and a setting retarder, wherein the gypsum composition has a content of calcium carbonate of 100 to 400 parts by mass and a content of the setting retarder of 0.1 parts by mass or more each based on 100 parts by mass of the hemihydrate gypsum.

PHOSPHOLIPID DEDUSTING AGENTS FOR JOINT COMPOUNDS
A drying-type joint compound, a setting-type joint compound, and/or a ready-mixed, setting-type joint compound can include a phospholipid dedusting agent. For example, a drying-type joint compound can include: (a) a primary filler at 50 weight percent (wt %) to 98 wt % on a dry basis, wherein the primary filler includes one of calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate dihydrate, and talc, and a mixture thereof (b) a secondary filler at up to 25 wt % on a dry basis; (c) a binder at 1 wt % to 15 wt % on a dry basis; (d) a polymer thickener at 0.05 wt % to 3 wt % on a dry basis; (e) a phospholipid dedusting agent at 0.01 wt % to 3 wt % on a dry basis; (0 an additive up to 10 wt % o on a dry basis; and (g) water at a weight ratio of water to dry components of 1:6 to 2:1.
SNAP-SET, READY-MIX JOINT COMPOUND
A joint compound system includes a set-inhibited, pre-wetted, setting-type, ready-mix joint compound and a set initiator. The set-inhibited, pre-wetted, setting-type joint compound includes a ready-mixed, setting-type joint compound base with a calcium-free phosphate set preventing agent that impedes chemical hydration of a gypsum component of the setting-type joint compound. The joint compound base is free of calcium carbonate. The set initiator includes alum to reinitiate the chemical hydration reactions.
VESICLE DEDUSTING AGENTS FOR JOINT COMPOUNDS
A drying-type joint compound can comprise: (a) a primary filler at about 50 weight percent (wt %) to about 98 wt % on a dry basis, wherein the primary filler includes one member selected from the group of calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate dihydrate, and talc, and a mixture thereof; (b) a secondary filler at up to about 25 wt % on a dry basis; (c) a binder at about 1 wt % to about 15 wt % on a dry basis; (d) a polymer thickener at about 0.05 wt % to about 3 wt % on a dry basis; (e) a vesicle dedusting agent at about 0.01 wt % to about 10 wt % on a dry basis, wherein the vesicle dedusting agent comprises vesicles; and (f) an additive up to about 10 wt % o on a dry basis; and (g) water at a ratio of water to dry components of about 1:6 to about 3:1.
