The conformal protective layer is a plasma resistant rare earth oxide film having a thickness of less than 1000 μm, wherein the plasma resistant rare earth oxide film consists essentially of 40 mol % to less than 100 mol % of Y.sub.2O.sub.3, over 0 mol % to 60 mol % of ZrO.sub.2, and 0 mol % to 9 mol % of Al.sub.2O.sub.3.
Modified scheelite material for co-firing
Disclosed herein are embodiments of low temperature co-fireable scheelite materials which can be used in combination with high dielectric materials, such as nickel zinc ferrite, to form composite structures, in particular for isolators and circulators for radiofrequency components. In some embodiments, the scheelite material can include aluminum oxide for temperature expansion regulation.

A ceramic electronic component includes a body including a dielectric layer and an internal electrode, and an external electrode disposed on the body and connected to the internal electrode. The dielectric layer includes a plurality of dielectric grains, and at least one of the plurality of dielectric grains has a core-dual shell structure having a core and a dual shell. The dual shell includes a first shell surrounding at least a portion of the core, and a second shell surrounding at least a portion of the first shell, and a concentration of a rare earth element included in the second shell is more than 1.3 times to less than 3.8 times a concentration of a rare earth element included in the first shell.
Dielectric ceramic composition and electronic component
Provided is a dielectric ceramic composition comprising a main component of forsterite and calcium strontium titanate. A content ratio of forsterite in the main component is from 84.0 to 92.5 parts by mole, and a content ratio of calcium strontium titanate is from 7.5 to 16.0 parts by mole. (Sr+Ca)/Ti in the calcium strontium titanate is from 1.03 to 1.20 in terms of a molar ratio. With respect to a total of 100 parts by mass of the main component and a subcomponent except for Li-containing glass, from 2 to 10 parts by mass of Li-containing glass is added. The Li-containing glass includes Al.sub.2O.sub.3 in an amount of from 1% by mass to 10% by mass.
Combustion chamber hot face refractory lining
A method for producing a refractory lining in a combustion chamber operating in a reducing atmosphere. The lining includes at least one or more Zirconia (Zr)-based refractory lining members comprising one or more Zr-based parts. The Zr-based parts comprise at least 90 wt. %, preferably at least 95 wt. %, of monoclinic ZrO.sub.2 and/or partially stabilized ZrO.sub.2 and/or fully stabilized ZrO.sub.2, wherein the total content of tetragonal and cubic ZrO.sub.2 amounts to at least 20 wt. %, preferably more than 35 wt. %, as well as Zr based refractory lining members and methods for manufacturing the Zr based refractory lining members.
REFRACTORY PRODUCT
Provided is a refractory product which is not impregnated with pitch or the like, wherein it has higher corrosion-erosion resistance and thermal shock resistance as compared to a refractory product subjected to pitch or the like-impregnation treatment. The refractory product which is not impregnated with tar or pitch is characterized in that, in terms of values of physical properties of a sample of the refractory product as measured after heat-treating the sample in a non-oxidizing atmosphere at 1200° C.: an apparent porosity is 7% or less; a total void volume of pores having a pore diameter of 1 μm or less is 80% or more of an integrated void volume of pores of the entire sample of the refractory product; and a gas permeability is 50×10.sup.−17 m.sup.2 or less.
SOLID-STATE BATTERY CATHODES AND METHODS THEREOF
The present disclosure describes a lithium solid state battery, including a cathode that includes an active material such as lithium, and an additive having a lower melting point than the active material. The additive can provide a composite cathode where a cathode-electrolyte interphase has high electronic and ionic conductivity, good mechanical deformability, and high oxidation potential.

A refractory lining in a combustion chamber operating in a reducing atmosphere. The lining includes at least one or more Zirconia (Zr)-based refractory lining members comprising one or more Zr-based parts. The Zr-based parts comprise at least 90 wt. %, preferably at least 95 wt. %, of monoclinic ZrO.sub.2 and/or partially stabilized ZrO.sub.2 and/or fully stabilized ZrO.sub.2, wherein the total content of tetragonal and cubic ZrO.sub.2 amounts to at least 20 wt. %, preferably more than 35 wt. %, as well as Zr based refractory lining members and methods for manufacturing the Zr based refractory lining members.
CERAMIC ARTICLES MADE FROM CERAMIC BEADS WITH OPEN POROSITY
A ceramic article and method of manufacturing. The ceramic article comprises a porous ceramic material having a microstructure comprising an interconnected network of porous spheroidal ceramic beads. The microstructure has a total open porosity defined as the sum of an open intrabead porosity of the beads and an interbead porosity defined by interstices between the beads in the interconnected network. The microstructure has a bimodal pore size distribution having an intrabead peak corresponding to the open intrabead porosity and an interbead peak corresponding to the interbead porosity. An intrabead median pore size of the intrabead porosity is less than an interbead median pore size of the interbead porosity.
