Method and devices for passing a chronic total occlusion and re-entry into a true lumen
11583665 · 2023-02-21 ·

Methods and devices are disclosed for passing Chronic Total Occlusion (CTO) from subintimal location and re-entry into a true-lumen of the patient using transient fenestration approach. The transient fenestration is induced by balloon dilatation within the CTO, and a guidewire quickly trails into a true lumen.

A thrombectomy system comprising an aspiration catheter having an aspiration lumen and a high pressure irrigation lumen, the aspiration catheter having a proximal end and a distal, and a control box fluidly connected to the aspiration catheter and configured to synchronously provide irrigation and vacuum through the aspiration catheter.

STEPLESS SPEED REGULATION MEDICAL PULSE IRRIGATOR WITH LED LAMP
20220355022 · 2022-11-10 ·

Disclosed is a disposable stepless speed regulation medical pulse irrigator with an LED lamp, including an upper handle, a lower handle, a pump body, a fluid tube, stepless speed regulation control parts, a spray nozzle part, a power supply part and an LED lamp. The pump body is arranged inside the upper handle; the left side of the pump body is connected with a piston; and the bottom end of the piston is provided with a big gear. In a pulse irrigating process of a wound, the disposable stepless speed regulation medical pulse irrigator with the LED lamp can use a continuous regulatable flushing speed and pressure to reduce the discomfort of a patient with this instrument according to the wound pain sensitivity of the patient, and can improve the wound cleansing efficiency and relieve the working load of medical staff at the same time. When flushing fluid splashes onto a contaminated fluid collection bag to obstruct the field of view, the LED lamp can be turned on through an LED lamp control switch to assist in the observation for the wound, which facilitates debridement personnel to determine whether debridement is completed, so that the debridement time and cost are greatly saved.

Systems and methods for removal of blood and thrombotic material

A system for aspirating thrombus includes a catheter having a supply lumen having a distal end and an aspiration lumen configured to couple to a vacuum source and having an interior wall surface and an open distal end, an orifice at or near the distal end of the supply lumen, in fluid communication with the interior of the aspiration lumen, the orifice located proximally of the open distal end of the aspiration lumen, wherein the orifice is configured to create a spray pattern that impinges on the interior wall surface of the aspiration lumen when a distal end of the aspiration catheter is immersed within an aqueous environment, and a disposable tubing set having a first conduit configured to couple the supply lumen of the aspiration catheter to a fluid source, and a pump component associated with the first conduit and configured to detachably couple to a drive unit.

UTERINE DISTENSION FLUID MANAGEMENT SYSTEM WITH PERISTALTIC PUMPS

A pump cartridge for mounting on a drive rotor includes a roller assembly having first and second hubs maintained in a spaced apart relationship and defining an axis, and a plurality of planetary rollers arranged in a circumferentially spaced orientation about the axis, the rollers mounted to the hubs displacement radially outward. One or more compressible tubing lines are interposed between the rollers and an interior wall of the pump cartridge housing. The housing and the first and second hubs collectively define a passageway through which a spreader on the drive rotor extends and may be rotated relative to the roller assembly to displace the rollers radially outward to thereby compress the tubing lines against the interior wall. A coupling feature on the first hub engages a roller driving feature of the rotor, so that rotation of the rotor causes rotation of the roller assembly about the axis.

Basket apparatus
11571229 · 2023-02-07 · ·

A basket apparatus is described that assists in removing objects from within a patient. The apparatus includes a number of pull wires, each pull wire physically coupled to a different capstan that individually actuates one of the pull wires. The apparatus also includes an outer support shaft itself including a number of channels through which the pull wires traverse. The portions of the pull wires extending out of the outer support shaft form a basket of adjustable size, shape, and position. The pull wires are attached together at a tip located at a distal end of the basket apparatus. By controlling the actuation of the various pull wires, the basket's shape, position size can be manipulated to reposition the basket around an object located within a patient, independent of or in conjunction with motion of the remainder of the apparatus or an associated endoscope.

DIRECT STREAM HYDRODYNAMIC CATHETER SYSTEM

A direct stream hydrodynamic catheter system is provided for the removal of thrombus, lesions and the like including provisions for the infusion of drugs, lysing fluids and the like into a blood vessel. Physician controlled powered direct fluid jet streams emanate from a fluid jet emanatory in the form of robust radially directed fluid jet streams to impinge upon and ablate difficult and strong thrombus and lesions within a blood vessel. Effluent aspiration is controlled by an exhaust regulator in the form of a roller pump, but effluent removal can be assistingly influenced by the fluid pressure associated with the radially directed fluid jet streams.

OBJECT CAPTURE WITH A BASKET
20230030708 · 2023-02-02 ·

A method for capturing an object in a cavity in a patient is described. The method includes advancing a ureteroscope into the cavity containing the object. A basket is advanced through a working channel of the ureteroscope. The basket is opened within the cavity and is positioned so as to enclose the object. Then, two actions are performed simultaneously. The basket is collapsed while simultaneously the basket tool is advanced forward so that the object remains within the basket, ideally near the center of the basket, as the basket closes around the object. Once the object is captured, the basket is retracted to remove the object out of the cavity. Further, this process may be automated by having the method carried out by robotic arms acting in tandem, with one or more robotic arms advancing the basket tool or ureteroscope, and another robotic arm collapsing the basket.

ACCESSORY DEVICES FOR USE WITH CATHETERS

An accessory device may be used in combination with a thrombectomy catheter. The accessory device may be configured to deflect a distal portion of the thrombectomy catheter and/or disrupt a lesion in a vessel.
