The present invention relates to ferrite particles for bonded magnets having a bulk density of not less than 0.5 g/cm.sup.3 and less than 0.6 g/cm.sup.3 and a degree of compaction of not less than 65%, a resin composition for bonded magnets using the ferrite particles, and a molded product obtained by using the ferrite particles and the resin composition.
HIGH EMISSIVITY FAR INFRARED CERAMIC MODULE FOR THERAPEUTIC DEVICE
This invention relates to a ceramic module for assembly into a therapeutic device for treating a human or animal body with irradiation of far infrared. More specifically, said ceramic module can simultaneously emit blackbody-like thermal radiation and stimulated FIR-photons radiation in 3-16 μm wavelength spectrum, while the overall radiation in 8-14 μm wavelength range is measured to be an approximated blackbody radiation at a temperature that is at least 1 °K. (or 1 °C.) higher than the actual body temperature of said ceramic module, signifying an effective emissivity greater than 1.0. Said ceramic module may be used alone or serve as components of a therapeutic device for increasing physiologic performance, immune competence, health, and mean lifespan of human or animal.
Process for producing composite particles and insulation material for the production of insulating products for the building materials industry, and corresponding uses
What are described are a process for producing an insulating product for the construction materials industry or an insulating material as intermediate for production of such a product, and a corresponding insulating material/insulating product. Also described are the use of a matrix encapsulation method for production of composite particles in the production of an insulating product for the construction materials industry or of an insulating material as intermediate for production of such a product, and the corresponding use of the composite particles producible by means of a matrix encapsulation method.
Method for preparing composite materials with an oxide matrix and oxide reinforcements by means of a calefaction process
Method for the preparation, by means of a heating technique, of a composite material composed of a matrix of at least a first oxide of at least one metal and/or at least one metalloid reinforced by reinforcements in at least a second oxide of at least one metal and/or at least one metalloid, characterised in that the following successive steps are carried out: the reinforcements are placed in at least one liquid precursor of the first oxide of at least one metal and/or at least one metalloid; said reinforcements and the liquid precursor are heated so as to form the first oxide by means of the thermal decomposition of said liquid precursor, and to deposit the first oxide thus formed around the reinforcements and between the reinforcements thus forming the matrix.
Method for Manufacturing Transparent Ceramic Materials
An exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure provides a method for manufacturing a transparent ceramic material. The method comprises providing a compact comprising a metal oxide and, during sintering, exposing the compact to a vapor comprising one of or both fluorine ions and lithium ions to form a transparent ceramic material comprising at least 90% of a theoretical transparency.
Process for the manufacture of a fused block having a high zirconia content
A process for the manufacture of a refractory block including more than 80% zirconia, in percentage by weight based on the oxides. The process includes the following successive stages: melting, under reducing conditions, of a charge including more than 50% zircon, in percentage by weight, such as to reduce the zircon and obtain a molten material, application of oxidizing conditions to the molten material, casting of the molten material, and cooling until at least partial solidification of the molten material in the form of a block. Also, the process can include heat treatment of the block.
Ferrite sintered magnet
A ferrite sintered magnet including ferrite grains having a hexagonal crystal structure. The ferrite grains satisfy 0.56≤W≤0.68 where W is an average value of circularities of the ferrite grains in a cross section parallel to an axis of easy magnetization.
ANTI-CORROSION AND ANTI-COKING CERAMIC COATING WITH EASY STATE IDENTIFICATION FOR COAL-FIRED BOILER AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
Disclosed are an anti-corrosion and anti-coking ceramic coating with easy state identification for a coal-fired boiler and a preparation method thereof. The ceramic coating is formed by compounding a bottom coating layer and a surface coating layer, wherein the bottom coating layer is prepared from raw materials comprising sodium silicate, lanthanum oxide, niobium pentoxide, aluminum oxide, bismuth oxide, boron oxide, zinc oxide, silicon oxide, titanium dioxide, nano whisker, titanium nitride, and graphite fluoride, and the surface coating layer is prepared from raw materials comprising sodium silicate, lanthanum oxide, niobium pentoxide, chromium oxide, aluminum oxide, bismuth oxide, boron oxide, zinc oxide, silicon oxide, graphite fluoride, titanium nitride, silicon carbide, nano whisker, and cobalt green. An operating state of the ceramic coating is rapidly identified by a color difference between the bottom coating layer and the surface coating layer, which is beneficial to efficient maintenance of the ceramic coating during inspection.
