VERTICAL GAS DISTRIBUTION DEVICE FOR AEROBIC COMPOST AND GAS DISTRIBUTION METHOD
The present invention provides a vertical gas distribution device for aerobic compost and a gas distribution method. Current gas distribution pipelines are easily blocked by organic materials, resulting in poor ventilation due to non-uniform local ventilation and cleaning difficulties. The inventive device comprises a compost chamber, a compost bin, a compost heap, a percolate tank, and a plurality of gas distribution branch pipes at the bottom of the compost chamber, the pipes being vertically movable in the chamber; the percolate tank is positioned at the bottom of the chamber and under the pipes; an air inlet is provided on the side wall of the tank, and an outlet is provided on the side wall of the chamber; the compost bin is inside the compost chamber, and the compost heap is in the compost bin; each pipe is top sealed, with a plurality of vent holes on the side wall, and its bottom connected to the tank. The present invention is usable for compost ventilation.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF COMPOSTING HUMAN REMAINS
A method of composting human remains to produce a composting material. Human remains are placed into a vessel. A bulking agent mixture can be placed with the human remains in the vessel. The method also includes placing a compost solution in the vessel to accelerate the composting of the human remains. A system used in the process for composting human remains includes a vessel for receiving the human remains, a bulking agent mixture, and a compost solution. The system includes at least one opening in a lower part of the vessel for receiving a stream of air. The system also includes a lid for closing the human remains, the bulking agent mixture, and the compost solution in the vessel. Further, the system includes an outlet disposed in the vessel to permit the air from the at least one opening and unpleasant odors created in the vessel to be withdrawn from the vessel.

Apparatus and system for treating organic mass
An apparatus for treating organic mass. The apparatus comprises a treatment chamber and agitation means provided in the chamber to agitate the organic mass. The agitation means comprises a rotatable shaft extending through the chamber, a plurality of agitator arms extending from the shaft, and a paddle connected to each agitator arm. The paddle is arranged to make a first angle with respect to the longitudinal axis of the agitator arm and a second angle with respect to the longitudinal axis of the shaft. There is also provided a system for recycling ammonia generated from the treated organic mass by the apparatus.
Aerobic Hose Wrap Composting Apparatus And Method For Decomposing Waste Material
Decomposing waste material may use a no-turn, aerobic composting apparatus that includes an enclosure for containing waste material and a fluid distribution system including a fluid injection member removably disposable in waste material disposed in the enclosure. The fluid injection member includes a plurality of spaced apertures for injecting fluid into the waste material.
DEVICE FOR TREATING ORGANIC MATERIALS
A device for treating organic materials having a nozzle base, a roof, a rear wall, and two side walls, delimiting the interior of the device. Extending in the nozzle base are tubes connected to nozzles in the nozzle base, directed toward the interior of the device. The tubes are connected to a process gas apparatus for supplying the tubes with process gas. The process gas apparatus includes a ventilator connected to a pressure chamber for feeding the pressure chamber with process gas. The pressure chamber has at least one outlet connected to at least one of the tubes in the nozzle base to conduct process gas from the pressure chamber into the tubes. The ventilator and the pressure chamber are situated on the roof of the device, in particular in an enclosure. The pressure chamber is connected to the tubes via at least one connecting line in the rear wall.
Method for creating nutrient rich biologically active soils and horiculutre media with predetermined characteristics
A process is disclosed for creating biologically active soil or horticulture media for growing plants, wherein a fibrous carbon source such as coconut coir in a predetermined particulate form is mixed with fertilizers and other biological nutrients, inoculated with a biologically active substance such as worm castings and then aged or cured in an oxygen rich aerobic process. After which additional nutrients can be added to tailor the aged media for a specific sue. Various apparatus with which to conduct the aging process are also described. In a variation of the process used soil or horticulture media is recharged by first composting at a high temperature to remove harmful and unwanted items, its contents are evaluated, nutrients are added, and it is then aged in an aerobic process.
COMPOSTING FACILITY
A composting facility includes: a floor for receiving compostable material thereon, wherein the floor is constructed above-grade; a dovetail extending from the floor to allow ingress of a vehicle from a grade level to the floor; one or more channels defined within the floor and extending through the dovetail; a covering extending over the one or more channels to maintain the compostable material away from the channel, the covering defining at least one aperture extending from above the covering into the one or more channels for allowing flowthrough of gases; and an air source for providing air through the channels to provide cooling characteristics to the compostable material or oxygen to aid an aerobic process associated with composting. In operation, liquids draining from the composting material pass through the at least one aperture into the channel and out through a portion of the channel extending through the dovetail.
COMPOSTER APPARATUS, METHOD OF MAKING AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
An apparatus as a countertop composter includes a container, a frame, a lid with holes that can be adjustably opened and closed.
