Tick removal and capture tool
A tick removal medical tool has an arcuate scoop with a converging V-shaped groove that moves in under the rear of the tick. Upward and outward sloping edges of the groove gently lift a tick's abdomen, legs, thorax, head and mouthpieces in that order without squeezing or decapitating the tick. A compartment in a handle holds a removable live tick trap with a hinged front door. An arcuate edge of the door matches the arcuate scoop and sweeps the live tick into the trap. A thick concave urger at the door edge centers, lifts and sweeps the tick. A probe extending forward below the urger engages and lifts the tick as the probe is raised by the upward and outward sloping surfaces of the groove. The hollow handle holds supplies or receives an extended live trap with inward sloped exit preventors imprisoning multiple live ticks for analysis.
IMPLANT REMOVAL DEVICES AND METHODS
An implant removal device includes a body, a first arm, a second arm, an actuation interface, and an extraction member. The second arm is supported at the body and configured to move relative to the body between the retracted position and the skin gripping position. The actuation interface is supported at the body. The actuation interface is configured to receive a first actuation input thereat to cause at least one of the first arm and the second arm to move from the skin gripping position to the retracted position. The extraction member is supported at the body and located between the first arm and the second arm.
Sting Alleviation Apparatus
A sting alleviation apparatus for controlling the reaction to a bee sting and removing a bee stinger includes a bee sting alleviation solution comprising at least 80% dimethyl ether, lidocaine, and benzalkonium chloride. The bee sting alleviation solution is contained in a sting alleviation apparatus comprising a can body having a spray head depressibly coupled to a can top. A cap is coupled to the can body. The cap has a cap sidewall and a cap top. A lower edge of the cap sidewall is selectively engageable with a lower rim of the can top to cover the can top and the spray head. A scraper is coupled to the cap sidewall adjacent the cap top. A distal edge of the scraper is serrated and configured to remove a bee stinger from skin.
Tick removal and encapsulation device and method
A cost-effective, small, light-weight, portable thin strip device for quickly, safely, effectively, easily, hygienically removing ticks attached to skin. The device comprises a tick engagement section, and two adhesive sections foldable onto the tick and the tick engagement section. The device is configured to encapsulate and preserve the removed tick in a clear, viewable position for medical inspection and eventual disposal. The device enables the catch and encapsulation of ticks without physically touching or handling the ticks directly.
Implant removal devices and methods

The first arm is supported at the body and configured to move relative to the body between a retracted position and a skin gripping position.
TICK AND TICK HEAD REMOVER
A tick remover device includes a substantially flat body defining a substantially v-shaped notch on one surface; a sharp point on another surface; and packaging material enclosing the flat body. A tick remover device can also include a substantially flat body defining a substantially v-shaped notch on one surface or edge; a sharp point on an another surface; and a protective member covering the sharp point to protect a user from the sharp point during use of the v-shaped notch. A packaged tick remover device as well as a method for using the packaged tick remover device are also disclosed.
Brush for lice or other parasitic insects
A lice brush includes a body that supports a plurality of bristles. The body also includes a handle. One or more of the plurality of bristles is configured for use in brushing a user's hair for lice. In particular, one or more of the bristles includes recesses, grooves, indentations, notches, pits or similar inwardly-extending spaces configured to facilitate removal of lice as the bristles pass through the hair. Multiple bristles can be provided in a bristle unit and multiple bristle units can be employed in a bristle assembly of the brush.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL POCKET KNIFE
The multifunctional pocket knife (1) is composed of a handle (2) formed by two joined-together flanks (3, 3) that provide at least one stowage space (4) for tools that each pivot about link pins (5, 5) arranged at each end of the handle (2). It is characterized in that it comprises a planar tick-removal instrument (6) that pivots about one of said link pins (5, 5) and that extends along the longitudinal axis of the pocket knife.
Tick-removal instrument (6) designed to be incorporated into a multifunctional pocket knife (1).
DEVICE FOR NEUTRALIZING ECTOPARASITES
The present invention relates to a device (1) for neutralizing ectoparasites. In order to prevent a release of toxic substances into a host body by an ectoparasite during its removal the device comprises a container (3) containing a neutralizing freezing medium, preferably an aerosol cooling medium, in particular preferably an aerosol of a mixture of isohexadecane, isopropyl myristate and cooling medium, preferably 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane; a body (2), in which the container (3) is located and which comprises a terminal front wall (21) with a discharge opening (212) located on the axis (O) of the outlet (31) of the container (3) and a terminal rear wall (22); a body end part (23) in a form of a convex shell element that encloses the discharge opening (212) of the terminal front wall (21) on the external side of this wall (21) and comprises an exhaust opening (231) located on the axis (O) of the discharge opening (212) of the terminal front wall (21) at a distance from this discharge opening (212) and at least one vent opening (232).
