PUMPING SYSTEM

A pumping system assembly is configured to adjust a flow rate of a liquid in a hydro dermabrasion system. The pumping system assembly includes a peristaltic pump. A tube is joined to a first opening on the peristaltic pump with a first line connector and joined to a second opening on the peristaltic pump with the second line connector. A hydro dermabrasion handpiece is configured to administer the liquid and connected to the first line connector with a first line. A liquid reservoir is configured to store the liquid for the hydro dermabrasion system and connected to the second line connector with a second line. Optionally a microcontroller is connected to the peristaltic pump and programmed with instructions to engage the rotor in a clockwise manner drawing liquid from the liquid reservoir and transferring the liquid to the hydro dermabrasion handpiece. Optionally a microcontroller is connected to the peristaltic pump and programmed with instructions to engage the rotor in a counter-clockwise manner drawing liquid from the fluid delivery system and transferring the liquid to the liquid reservoir.

The present invention is a dermal-exfoliation system that uses positive pressure to deliver salt and/or bio-inert crystalline particle abrasives or saline solution to the stratum corneum, combined with a minimal amount of negative pressure to close the loop when in contact with the skin to evacuate spent particles and dislodged skin cells and debris. An applicator handpiece is optimized for the use of the combined pressure system discussed herein for the removal of epidermal layers.

MICRODERMABRASION DEVICE WITH SKIN DOME MEASUREMENT TO ADJUST VACUUM SETTING

The invention provides a microdermabrasion device (1) comprising a vacuum system (100) and a device tip (200), wherein the vacuum system (100) is in fluid communication with a channel inlet (120) at an inlet zone (1200) of the device tip (200), wherein the vacuum system (100) is configured to apply a vacuum to the inlet zone (1200), wherein the inlet zone (1200) further comprises an sensor (400) configured to measure a skin parameter of a part of a skin in the inlet zone (1200) and to provide a corresponding sensor signal, wherein the device tip (200) further comprises a microdermabrasion zone (1240) configured to abrade a part of said skin, and wherein the microdermabrasion device (1) further comprises a control unit (500) configured to control the vacuum as function of sensor signal information derived from the sensor signal and a predetermined relation between the sensor signal information and a vacuum setting.

Microdermabrasion Treatment Heads

An abrasive tip is used to exfoliate skin and tissue through abrasive materials integrated in the tip. The tip also delivers fluid to the skin and vacuums the fluid and abraded tissue during treatment. Treated skin will look younger and healthier in appearance. In an implementation, the tip is replaceable and disposable.

Skin treatment system with adjustable height wand

A distance between a surface of a treatment head and tip opening of a skin treatment hand piece is adjustable. In an implementation, the distance is adjusted by moving the tip opening relative to the treatment head surface. Different distances may be used to treat different skin types, problems, and conditions. In an implementation, the hand piece includes a fluid delivery and a vacuum or suction mechanism to provide various therapeutic benefits to the skin.
