RECYCLE CONTENT ALKANOLAMINES
An alkanolamine composition having a recycle content value is obtained by reacting a recycle content feedstock to make a recycle content alkanolamine or by deducting from a recycle inventory a recycle content value applied to an alkanolamine composition. At least a portion of the recycle content value in the feedstock or m an allotment obtained by an alkanolamine manufacturer has its origin in recycled waste and/or pyrolysis of recycled waste and/or in thermal steam cracking of recycle content pyoil.
Process for preparation of amino alcohols
A process for the preparation of amino alcohols includes condensing a compound of Formula (II), a stereoisomer, a tautomer, or a salt thereof with a compound of Formula (IIIa) or Formula (IIIb), a stereoisomer, a tautomer, or a salt thereof to form a condensation product; hydroxylating or acyloxylating the condensation product in the presence of an oxidant to obtain a hydroxylation or acyloxylation product; and subjecting the hydroxylation or acyloxylation product to one or more subsequent reactions comprising a hydrolysis reaction, alcohol deprotection, an amino lysis reaction, or a combination of two or more thereof to obtain an amino alcohol of Formula (I). ##STR00001##

METHODS FOR EXTRACTION, PROCESSING, AND PURIFICATION OF A SELECTED FAMILY OF TARGET COMPOUNDS FROM CANNABIS
Disclosed are methods for separating, recovering, and purifying cannabidiolic acid (CBDA) salts from an organic solvent solution comprising a mixture of cannabinoids. The methods comprise solubilizing the mixture of cannabinoids in C5-C7 hydrocarbon solvents, adding thereto a selected amine to thereby precipitate a CBDA-amine salt therefrom, dissolving the recovered CBDA-amine salt in a selected solvent and then adding thereto a selected antisolvent to thereby recrystallize a purified CBDA-amine salt therefrom. The recrystallized CBDA-amine salt may be decarboxylated to form a mixture of cannabidiol (CBD) and amine. The CBD amine mixture may be acidified to separate the amine from CBD. Also disclosed are CBDA-amine salts produced with certain amines selected from groups of secondary amines, tertiary amines, diamines, amino alcohols, amino ethers, and highly basic amines.
ORGANIC AMINE PURIFICATION METHOD
A method for purification of organic amines, comprising introducing a resin polymer matrix to a liquid containing at least an organic amine bonded to at least one metallic element, wherein the resin polymer matrix is embedded with an amino compound selected from the group consisting of iminodiacetic acid, aminomethylphosphonic acid or a combination thereof, and wherein the embedded resin polymer matrix binds the at least one metallic element, and the at least one metallic element is removed from the organic amine.
