The angle (e.g., slope) of the adjustable conveyor belt system can be adjusted to account for variations in the size and shape of the puck. The disclosed mechanical system also includes a flattener that is configured to provide memory to the pressed pucks.

The second carrier may be a single carrier, for example a Euro Hook, or a modified Euro Hook carrier.

Meat processing equipment is disclosed that includes a first element having a first face; a second element having a second face. The first and second faces extend parallel to one another and define a common plane between the first and second faces. The first and second elements are relatively movable with respect to one another. Yieldable arresting features are included for yieldably arresting the first and second elements in at least one predetermined position of relative movement, the yieldable arresting features include cooperating first and second permanent magnets, associated with at least one of the first and second elements.

The invention relates to a conveyor device (10) for conveying food products on a plurality of parallel conveyor tracks and for formatting the food products in a specific product format, especially for conveying and formatting stacks or interleaved units made of a plurality of slices of cheese or meat products. The multi-angle fluid distribution unit comprises a connecting element that is configured to operably couple with the spray unit such that the spray unit oscillates in correspondence to the rotation of the rotating unit. The spray unit comprises a guiding element and nozzle sprays. The guiding unit comprises a co-guiding element that has a reciprocate structure to the guiding element of the spray unit such that the guiding unit facilitates the oscillation of the spray unit in correspondence to the rotation of the rotating unit.

A statically weighed grading apparatus and method includes a static weight sensing apparatus weighing food parts prior to distribution to batches of food parts. The food parts are moved to batches to accumulate batches of parts having the same weight for each part, or batches of similar parts to achieve a desired total batch weight. Food parts are precisely deposited on a movement device to increase the density of food parts on the movement device maximizing throughput of the system. Several food parts can be transferred to the movement device to comprise a sub-batch prior to transfer to a final batch.

The invention relates to a belt conveyor (1) for conveying products to be conveyed (e.g. food products), with a deflection (8), in particular as a rotatable deflection pulley (8), and a conveyor belt (2) which is guided around the deflection (8). The invention provides that the deflection (8) comprises a central circumferential annular groove (11), and the conveyor belt (2) comprises a centre bar (12) on the inside which engages in the annular groove (11) of the deflection (8).

The invention relates to a method for applying a consumable treating liquid to an individual meat product, comprising the steps of placing an individual meat product on a carrier; moving the meat product towards a liquid applier; applying a consumable treating liquid to a meat product; forcing excess liquid towards the bottom of the meat product and/or the carrier, and controllably removing the excess liquid from the meat product and/or the carrier by a liquid remover. The invention also provides a device for applying a consumable treating liquid to an individual meat product.
