The present disclosure relates to a spiro compound and application thereof. The spiro compound has a structure as shown in a formula (1). Provided in the present invention are a compound and application thereof. The compound of the present invention has a structure as shown in the formula (1). The compound obtained in the present invention by connecting phenanthrene and fluoranthene groups via nitrogen has the advantages of great optical, electrical, and thermal stability, high luminescence efficiency, low electric voltage, and long service life, and can be used in organic electroluminescent devices. In particular, the compound has the potential for application in the AMOLED industry as an electron blocking layer material or a hole transport layer material.
