A light-emitting device with high emission efficiency is provided. The light-emitting device includes a fluorescent substance and a phosphorescent substance or a thermally activated delayed fluorescent material; the fluorescent substance includes a luminophore and five or more protecting groups; the luminophore is a condensed aromatic ring or a condensed heteroaromatic ring; the five or more protecting groups each have any one of an alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group having 3 to 10 carbon atoms, and a trialkylsilyl group having 3 to 12 carbon atoms; the lowest singlet excitation energy level of the fluorescent substance is higher than the lowest triplet excitation energy level of the phosphorescent substance or the thermally activated delayed fluorescent material; and light emission can be obtained from both the phosphorescent substance and the phosphorescent substance or the thermally activated delayed fluorescent material.

The present invention provides a method for hydrophobization of a hydrophilic material, the method including introducing a hydrophobic group into a hydroxyl group (—OH group) on a surface of the hydrophilic material. A method for hydrophobization of a hydrophilic material, the method comprising reacting a hydrophilic material to be hydrophobized with a hydrophobic group-containing silylating agent in presence of an amino acid as a reaction accelerator, to introduce a hydrophobic group-containing silyl group to a surface of the hydrophilic material. A hydrophobized silica gel column filler is produced by using the method. Further, a hydrophobized silica gel column is produced by filling a column with the hydrophobized silica gel column filler.

The MOFs provide a versatile family of recyclable and reusable single-site solid catalysts for catalyzing a variety of asymmetric organic transformations, including the regioselective boryiation and siiylation of benzyiic CH bonds, the hydrogenation of aikenes, imines, carbonyls, nitroarenes, and heterocycles, hydroboration, hydrophosphination, and cyclization reactions. The solid catalysts can also be integrated into a flow reactor or a supercritical fluid reactor.
