COMPOSITIONS FOR TREATMENT ALOPECIA AREATA, BIOMARKERS FOR TREATMENT SUCCESS AND, METHODS OF USE THEREOF
20230374124 · 2023-11-23 ·

The present disclosure is based, at least in part, on the discovery that the likelihood of improving severity of hair loss in a subject in need of at least one treatment for alopecia areata can be determined, in part, by measuring concentration of total IgE in a serum sample collected from the subject. Provided herein are compositions and methods for improving severity of hair loss in subjects having alopecia areata with elevated IgE and general treatment of alopecia areata by use of compositions having at least one treatment for alopecia areata.

Methods for treating systemic sclerosis

The invention provides methods for treating Systemic Sclerosis by administering a dual-V region bispecific antibody that specifically binds IL-4 and IL-13.

Inhaler system

Provided is a system (10) for determining a probability of an asthma exacerbation in a subject. The system comprises an inhaler (100) for delivering a rescue medicament to the subject. The inhaler has a use-detection system (12B) configured to determine a rescue inhalation performed by the subject using the first inhaler. A sensor system (12A) is configured to measure a parameter relating to airflow during the rescue inhalation. The system further comprises a processor (14) configured to determine a number of the rescue inhalations during a first time period, and receive the parameter measured for at least some of the rescue inhalations. The processor determines, using a weighted model, the probability of the asthma exacerbation based on the number of rescue inhalations and the parameters. The model is weighted such that the number of rescue inhalations is more significant in the probability determination than the parameters.

METHODS FOR TREATING SEVERE ATOPIC DERMATITIS BY ADMINISTERING AN IL-4R INHIBITOR

The present invention provides methods for treating moderate-to-severe or severe atopic dermatitis (AD). The methods of the present invention comprise administering to a subject in need thereof one or more doses of an interleukin-4 receptor (IL-4R) inhibitor such as an anti-IL-4R antibody. In certain embodiments, the methods of the present invention are used to treat severe AD in a patient whose disease is not controlled with systemic therapy (e.g., cyclosporine A) or when such therapy is inadvisable.

Biomarkers for anti-IL4-IL13 bispecific antibodies

Disclosed herein are safe doses of dual-V-region antibody-like binding proteins or fragments thereof, as well as methods for assessing binding of dual-V-region antibody-like proteins or fragments thereof to their targets, and methods of treating idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) by administering safe doses of dual-V-region antibody-like binding proteins or fragments thereof. In some embodiments, the dual-V-region antibody-like binding proteins or fragments thereof bind both IL-4 and IL-13.

USES OF A DUAL V REGION ANTIBODY-LIKE PROTEIN

Uses of a dual V region antibody-like protein or a fragment of a dual V region antibody-like region.

Methods of producing two chain proteins in bacteria

Provided herein are methods of producing a recombinant polypeptide containing two chains, such as an immune mobilizing monoclonal T-cell receptor against cancer (ImmTAC) protein including an alpha chain and a beta chain. In particular, methods are provided for producing heterologous secretory proteins in bacteria through utilization of optimized expression vectors and culture processes.

METHODS OF USING PHARMACOLOGIC INHIBITORS OF TYPE 2 CYTOKINE SIGNALING TO TREAT OR PREVENT PANCREATIC CANCER
20210220471 · 2021-07-22 ·

The present technology provides methods for treating and/or preventing pancreatic cancer using inhibitors of Type 2 cytokine signaling. Also disclosed herein are methods for selecting a pancreatic cancer patient for treatment with an inhibitor of Type 2 cytokine signaling. Kits for use in practicing the methods are also provided.

PRODUCTION OF HETEROMULTIMERIC PROTEINS
20210171662 · 2021-06-10 ·

Described herein are methods for the efficient production of antibodies and other multimeric protein complexes (collectively referred to herein as heteromultimeric proteins) capable of specifically binding to more than one target. The targets may be, for example, different epitopes on a single molecule or located on different molecules. The methods combine efficient, high gene expression level, appropriate assembly, and ease of purification for the heteromultimeric proteins. The invention also provides methods of using these heteromultimeric proteins, and compositions, kits and articles of manufacture comprising these antibodies.

Dual Variable Region Antibody-Like Binding Proteins Having Cross-Over Binding Region Orientation

The invention provides antibody-like binding proteins comprising four polypeptide chains that form four antigen binding sites, wherein each pair of polypeptides forming an antibody-like binding protein possesses dual variable domains having a cross-over orientation. The invention also provides methods for making such antigen-like binding proteins.
