The present invention aims to provide resin particles that have excellent heat resistance and that, when used as base particles of conductive particles, are applicable to mounting by thermocompression bonding at low pressure to produce a connection structure having excellent connection reliability. The present invention also aims to provide conductive particles, a conductive material, and a connection structure each including the resin particles. Provided are resin particles having a 5% weight loss temperature of 350° C. or higher, a 10% K value at 25° C. of 100 N/mm.sup.2 or more and 2,500 N/mm.sup.2 or less, and a 30% K value at 25° C. of 100 N/mm.sup.2 or more and 1,500 N/mm.sup.2 or less.

SPACER, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME, AND DISPLAY DEVICE

A spacer, a method for manufacturing the spacer, and a display device are provided. The method includes: a step S10 of reacting a resin compound and a pyridine compound to generate an intermediate, a step S20 of reacting the intermediate and a metal ligand by a coordination reaction to obtain a coordination structure, and a step S30 of mixing the coordination structure, a monomer, a solvent, a starting agent, and an additive to prepare the spacer.

Iodo-functionalized polymers as mass spectrometry calibrants with a mass-defect offset

The present invention discloses novel calibrants containing between 1 and 5 iodine atoms and methods of making them using linear polymers, hyperbranched polymers, and biological polymers (including but not limited to proteins and peptides.) Methods of using the calibrants are also disclosed, such as mass spectrometry. The novel calibrants disclosed herein have a more cost- and time-efficient synthesis than other calibrants.

POLYMERS INCLUDING A METHYLENE BETA-KETOESTER AND PRODUCTS FORMED THEREFROM

The present teachings are directed at 1,1-disubstituted alkene monomers (e.g., methylene beta-ketoester monomers), methods for producing the same, polymerizable compositions including a methylene beta-ketoester monomer, and polymers, compositions and products formed therefrom. The monomer preferably is a high purity monomer. In the method for producing the methylene beta-ketoesters of the invention, a beta-ketoester may be reacted with a source of formaldehyde. The methylene beta-ketoester monomers may be used in monomer-based products (e.g., inks, adhesives, coatings, sealants or reactive molding) and polymer-based products (e.g., fibers, films, sheets, medical polymers, composite polymers and surfactants).
