Provided is a polymer capable of providing a coating film that has good initial adhesiveness to a base material and good adhesiveness thereto after a pressure cooker test, and has excellent abrasion resistance as determined by a falling sand abrasion test. The polymer includes a perhaloolefin unit, a vinyl ester unit that contains neither a hydroxy group nor an aromatic ring; and a hydroxy group-containing monomer unit. The polymer has a hydroxyl value of 110 mgKOH/g or greater.

To provide a decorative film, whereby formation of wrinkles is suppressed when bonded to a three dimensional molded product in a stretched state, a method for producing a decorative film, a method for producing a decorative film-attached three dimensional molded product, and a fluorinated polymer composition. The decorative film of the present invention is a decorative film having at least a base film layer and a fluorinated layer containing a crosslinked fluorinated polymer, wherein the crosslinked fluorinated polymer is a crosslinked product of a crosslinkable polymer comprising units based on a fluoroolefin and units having a crosslinkable group, and the average molecular weight between crosslinking groups of the crosslinked fluorinated polymer is from 500 to 50,000.

ADHERENT AMORPHOUS PERFLUOROPOLMER COMPOSITION
Provided is a fluoropolymer composition containing amorphous perfluoropolymer as a major component and functional fluoropolymer as a minor component, the functional fluoropolymer containing copolymerized units of fluoroolefin, alkyl or aryl vinyl ether and alkenyl silane. The minor amount of the functional fluoropolymer results in the fluoropolymer composition strongly adhering to a variety of substrates, but not suffering significant degradation of the desirable properties of the amorphous perfluoropolymer.
ADHERENT AMORPHOUS PERFLUOROPOLMER COMPOSITION
Provided is a fluoropolymer composition containing amorphous perfluoropolymer as a major component and functional fluoropolymer as a minor component, the functional fluoropolymer containing copolymerized units of fluoroolefin, alkyl or aryl vinyl ether and alkenyl silane. The minor amount of the functional fluoropolymer results in the fluoropolymer composition strongly adhering to a variety of substrates, but not suffering significant degradation of the desirable properties of the amorphous perfluoropolymer.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING INJECTION MOLDED ARTICLE
Provided is a method for producing an injection molded article for obtaining an injection molded article by injection molding a copolymer using an injection molding machine and a mold having a hot runner, wherein the copolymer is a copolymer containing tetrafluoroethylene unit and a fluoroalkyl vinyl ether unit, and the number of functional groups of the copolymer is 100 or less per 10.sup.6 main-chain carbon atoms.

A modified polymer including (a) a main chain containing a fluorine-containing polymer and (b) a side chain represented by the following formula (b1′) and/or a side chain represented by the following formula (b2′). The formula (b1′) is —CH.sub.2—CR.sup.b1(—X)—C(═O)—Y—Z—Rf, wherein X is a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, or a halogen atom; Y is —O— or —NH—; Z is a direct bond or a divalent organic group; Rf is a C1-C20 fluoroalkyl group; and R.sup.b1 is a hydrogen atom or a monovalent organic group. The formula (b2′) is —CH.sub.2—CR.sup.b2(—R.sup.1)—C(═O)—O—Si(—CH.sub.3).sub.2—[O—Si(—CH.sub.3).sub.2].sub.n—O—Si(—CH.sub.3).sub.2—R.sup.2, wherein R.sup.1 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; R.sup.2 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; R.sup.b2 is a hydrogen atom or a monovalent organic group; and n is 3 to 200.
MODIFIED POLYMER, COMPOSITION, COATING FILM AND MULTILAYER BODY
A modified polymer including (a) a main chain containing a fluorine-containing polymer and (b) a side chain represented by the following formula (b1′) and/or a side chain represented by the following formula (b2′). The formula (b1′) is —CH.sub.2—CR.sup.b1(—X)—C(═O)—Y—Z—Rf, wherein X is a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, or a halogen atom; Y is —O— or —NH—; Z is a direct bond or a divalent organic group; Rf is a C1-C20 fluoroalkyl group; and R.sup.b1 is a hydrogen atom or a monovalent organic group. The formula (b2′) is —CH.sub.2—CR.sup.b2(—R.sup.1)—C(═O)—O—Si(—CH.sub.3).sub.2—[O—Si(—CH.sub.3).sub.2].sub.n—O—Si(—CH.sub.3).sub.2—R.sup.2, wherein R.sup.1 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; R.sup.2 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; R.sup.b2 is a hydrogen atom or a monovalent organic group; and n is 3 to 200.
Curable Fluoropolymer Compositions Comprising a Compound Containing a Phthalonitrile and an Olefinic Bond and Cured Articles Therefrom
Described herein are fluoropolymer compositions comprising a compound of Formula (I) wherein X.sup.1 is selected from O or S; L is a divalent linking group comprising at least one aromatic ring; O and X.sup.2 comprises a carbon-carbon double bond. In one embodiment, the phthalonitrile-containing compound is added to a composition comprising (i) a fluorinated elastomeric gum, wherein the fluorinated elastomeric gum comprises a fluoropolymer having a cure-site and (ii) a peroxide curing system.
