Environmentally friendly aqueous coating composition
An aqueous emulsion is made by emulsion polymerizing at least one free-radically polymerizable monomer and one or more di- or higher-functional chain-extending monomers in the presence of an aqueous solution of an oligomer made from a mixture of free-radically polymerizable monomers including acid-functional free-radically polymerizable comonomers, adhesion-promoting free-radically polymerizable comonomers and other free-radically polymerizable comonomers. The aqueous emulsion is substantially free of adipic dihydrazide, has a minimum film forming temperature≤55° C., and on drying has a Koenig hardness of at least 40 sec.

Production of light-transmissive objects by additive manufacturing
Provided herein is a method of making a clear or translucent object by additive manufacturing, comprising (a) providing a clear or translucent light polymerizable resin, the resin comprising: (i) light-polymerizable monomers, prepolymers, or a combination thereof; (ii) a photoinitiator; and (iii) a polysubstituted linear polyacene ultraviolet light absorbing compound which compound is polysubstituted with bromo, chloro, —Se—R′, —S—R′ or combinations thereof, where each R′ is independently selected from alkyl, aryl, and arylalkyl; and then (b) producing by stereolithography with ultraviolet light a clear or translucent object from said light polymerizable resin.
Composition for model material
The present invention relates to a model material composition for shaping a model material by a material jetting optical shaping method, comprising a polymerizable compound, a photopolymerization initiator and a siloxane compound having one polymerizable group per molecule, the siloxane compound having a number average molecular weight of 300 to 10,000.
ELASTIC MATERIALS PREPARED FROM CURABLE LIQUID COMPOSITIONS
The invention relates to an elastic material having high rebound resilience, which is an energy-cured material obtained from a composition comprising a specific urethane (meth)acrylate comprising oxybutylene units.

Method for producing an article by layer-by-layer buildup with separately patterned resin and initiator wherein the resin has a storage modulus greater than loss modulus at 20 C
A method for producing an article in which a layer with a radically cross-linkable resin is selectively crosslinked at least partially. This takes place according to a selected cross section of the article to be formed by means of selective application of a radical initiator. The at least partially crosslinked material is added on layer by layer to a carrier or to previous layers bonded to the carrier. A system that is suitable for carrying out the method according to the invention has a substrate, a control unit, an application unit for applying the resin to the substrate, an application unit for applying an initiator to the resin, an energy exposure unit and a contacting unit.
