MEDICAL TABLE AND SURGICAL DRAPE FOR USE IN SURGICAL PROCEDURES
A surgical drape is disclosed herein that is to be used for medical procedures in order to ensure sterile portions are not contaminated. The surgical drape can be configured to be placed around a surgical site where an operative procedure is to be conducted. The surgical drape includes a u-shaped opening, at least one sleeve, and at least one flap on its proximal end. The at least one sleeve and the at least one flap extend outwardly from a top surface of the drape. The at least one flap includes adhesive components on one side that allow the at least one flap to be folded back on to itself to provide additional protective harder from contamination.
DISPOSABLE COMPONENTS FOR REUSABLE PHYSIOLOGICAL SENSOR
A sensor cartridge according to embodiments of the disclosure is capable of being used with a non-invasive physiological sensor. Certain embodiments of the sensor cartridge protect the sensor from damage, such as damage due to repeated use, reduce the need for sensor sanitization, or both. Further, embodiments of the sensor cartridge are positionable on the user before insertion in the sensor and allow for improved alignment of the treatment site with the sensor. In addition, the sensor cartridge of certain embodiments of the disclosure can be configured to allow a single sensor to comfortably accommodate treatment sites of various sizes such as for both adult and pediatric applications.
Nail Plate Growth Guide Surgical Implantation Kit
A surgical kit for the repair of a nail bed includes implantable nail plate guides adapted to guide the regrowth of a fingernail over a nail bed, drapes, a suture needle with absorbable suture, a suture needle with non-absorbable suture, wound dressings, and all instruments required to perform the procedure. The instruments preferably include an elevator, a needle driver, a clamp, a tweezers, and a scissors. The kit also includes anesthesia, a syringe, and needles for loading and then administering the anesthesia to the finger. The kit may include a tourniquet, antiseptic, and an antiinfective. Therefore, the kit assembles together several nail plate guides, the instruments for implanting a selected one of the nail plate guides onto the nail bed over a patient, the pre-implantation surgical preparation materials, and the post-implantation wound care materials.
Cranial surgical drape
A drape for use in cranial surgical procedures including a sterile sheet and a plurality of fluid-collection pouches surrounding a cranial region fenestration. The drape further includes a thoracic region fenestration for concurrent or directly subsequent thoracic surgical procedures. Advantageously, the drape allows for a superior aseptic surgical field and superior drainage facilitated by a multi-pouch configuration.

Methods for robotic surgery using a cannula
Methods for preparing a bone in surgery using an imaging system, a navigation system having a locating device, and a robotic system having a cutting tool. A cannula is guided into an incision to expand the incision and provide access to the bone so that the cutting tool is insertable through the cannula to remove material from the bone. An implant is insertable through the cannula to be placed in the bone.
HIGHLY ABSORBENT SURGICAL DRAPE
A disposable, multiple layer surgical drape is provided. The surgical drape includes a bottom layer configured as a fluid impervious layer, a middle layer configured as a fluid absorbent layer, and a top layer configured as a fluid repellent layer. The middle layer is disposed between the top and bottom layers and has varying thickness. The top layer includes one or more continuity breaks exposing the middle layer.
SURGICAL HAND WRAP AND STERILE CONNECTOR
Devices to secure the hand of a patient to a limb positioning device while evenly distributing the applied traction load across the patient's hand and wrist are disclosed. The hand is placed in the open position into a soft mitten, while an anatomically-shaped plate is attached to the mitten for supporting the palm of the hand in the open position. Straps are then secured around the patient's wrist and hand. Finally, the entire device is overwrapped an elastic bandage and secured to the limb positioning device. When traction is applied, the shape of the plate, the construction of the mitten, and the straps combine to allow low-contact pressure across the patient's hand and wrist.
Extremity support and irrigation device and method of use
An apparatus for supporting an extremity during tissue irrigation and debridement and containing and capturing fluid and tissue debris resulting therefrom includes an extremity-supporting base and barrier shroud. The apparatus can be used to control drainage of fluid and tissue debris during irrigation and debridement. The apparatus supports and encloses a patient extremity, such as an arm or a leg. The base has a length, proximal end (i.e., nearest the patient's body), and distal end (i.e., farthest from the patient's body). The base may comprise an open-cell foam that is non-collapsible to provide a support surface with a fixed length. The shroud has a top portion, bottom portion, and shroud drainage opening. The shroud can be selectively moveable between a first position in which the support surface is unobstructed to facilitate placement of an extremity thereon and a second position in the shroud at least partially encloses the extremity.
