Protective Drape For a Medical Procedure and Method of Use

A protective drape for a medical procedure may include a protective sheet including an interior surface, an exterior surface, a first end, a second end, a first side, and a second side. A first flap is coupled to the interior surface of the protective sheet so as to form a pocket at the first end of the protective sheet. The first flap includes an outer edge positioned away from the second end of the protective sheet and connected to the protective sheet, and a first lateral edge that is connected to the protective sheet so as to form a sealed periphery of the pocket that extends over the outer edge and a first lateral edge of the first flap.

Universal surgical access system

A surgical system includes a surgical arm including at least a distal segment. The surgical system further includes a drape disposed over the surgical arm such that the surgical arm is at least partially covered by the drape. An instrument connector is coupled to the distal segment of the surgical arm through the drape and includes a stem and a shaft. The shaft is configured to receive a surgical instrument. When the instrument connector is coupled to the surgical arm, the instrument connector secures a portion of the drape against the distal segment of the surgical arm. Universal surgical access system

A surgical system includes a surgical arm including at least a distal segment. The surgical system further includes a drape disposed over the surgical arm such that the surgical arm is at least partially covered by the drape. An instrument connector is coupled to the distal segment of the surgical arm through the drape and includes a stem and a shaft. The shaft is configured to receive a surgical instrument. When the instrument connector is coupled to the surgical arm, the instrument connector secures a portion of the drape against the distal segment of the surgical arm. Robotic surgical assemblies

A surgical instrument holder includes a carriage, a housing, and a drive assembly. The carriage is configured for engagement to a surgical robotic arm and for supporting an instrument drive unit. The housing extends from the carriage and defines a channel. The drive assembly includes a pulley, a belt, and an annular member. The pulley is rotatably disposed within the housing and in operable engagement with a motor of the carriage such that actuation of the motor rotates the pulley. The belt is rotatably disposed within the housing and in operable engagement with the pulley such that rotation of the pulley effects rotation of the belt. The annular member is disposed within the channel of the housing and configured for non-rotatable receipt of an instrument drive unit. The annular member is in operable engagement with the belt such that rotation of the belt effects rotation of the annular member.

Robotic surgical assemblies

A surgical instrument holder includes a carriage, a housing, and a drive assembly. The carriage is configured for engagement to a surgical robotic arm and for supporting an instrument drive unit. The medical device holder includes an elongated housing which defines a pair of storage areas for a medical device. The housing is formed of a first planar member fixed to a second concave member. The concave member defines first and second chambers, the first being generally L-shaped.

Medical device holder

The medical device holder can be attached to a plurality of different support structures to retain a medical device at a convenient location near a patient. The medical device holder includes an elongated housing which defines a pair of storage areas for a medical device. The housing is formed of a first planar member fixed to a second concave member. The concave member defines first and second chambers, the first being generally L-shaped.

An endoscope mouthpiece includes a mouthpiece body, a drape, and a fluid suppression member. The mouthpiece body has a pipe line and has an opening portion provided at an end of the pipe line on a side located outside a body of a patient. The drape is provided integrally with the mouthpiece body and covers a head of the patient. The fluid suppression member is provided in the opening portion to suppress passage of a fluid.

Surgical system instrument mounting

An instrument manipulator may comprise a frame comprising an outer shell and an inner frame, the inner frame being movably coupled to the outer shell. The instrument manipulator may also include a plurality of actuator outputs protruding in a distal direction from the frame and an instrument support feature coupled to the outer shell. The instrument manipulator may further comprise a latching mechanism, the latching mechanism being configured to move the inner frame, the outer shell, or both relative to one another, so as to operably engage the plurality of actuator outputs with a plurality of actuator inputs of an instrument supported by the instrument support feature.

Surgical system instrument mounting

An instrument manipulator may comprise a frame comprising an outer shell and an inner frame, the inner frame being movably coupled to the outer shell. The instrument manipulator may also include a plurality of actuator outputs protruding in a distal direction from the frame and an instrument support feature coupled to the outer shell. The instrument manipulator may further comprise a latching mechanism, the latching mechanism being configured to move the inner frame, the outer shell, or both relative to one another, so as to operably engage the plurality of actuator outputs with a plurality of actuator inputs of an instrument supported by the instrument support feature.
