The polyol premix composition includes a polyester polyol; halogenated olefin blowing agent; and a distribution-enhancing component. In the polyol premix composition, the blowing agent, the polyester polyol, and the distribution-enhancing component form a substantially uniform composition.

The photocurable composition includes: a urethane acrylamide oligomer derived from a first urethane prepolymer having an isocyanate end group and a polar group-containing acrylamide; a urethane acrylate oligomer derived from a second urethane prepolymer having an isocyanate end group and a polar group-containing (meth)acrylate; and an amide group-containing acrylic polymer derived from acrylamide and a polar group-containing (meth)acrylate.

Provided is a water blocking material prepared by reacting and foaming a starting material composition that contains a polyol, a polyisocyanate, a catalyst, a foaming agent, a foam stabilizer and a crosslinking agent, in which the polyol contains a dimer acid polyol, the content of the dimer acid polyol in the starting material composition is 85% by mass or more of the entire polyol, the polyisocyanate contains a diphenylmethane diisocyanate, the content of the diphenylmethane diisocyanate in the starting material composition is 70 to 85% by mass of the entire polyisocyanate, and the foam stabilizer contains a reactive silicone. The water blocking material is excellent in heat resistance and water blocking performance and is further excellent in flexibility.

The solution contains: an acrylic resin selected from: (i) an acrylic resin having a hydroxyl value of 40 to 280 and having a structure in which a silane coupling agent (a) having a functional group reactive with a hydroxyl group is bonded to a side chain; or (ii) an acrylic resin having a hydroxyl value of 40 to 280 and having a structure in which a silane coupling agent (b) having a vinyl group is polymerized as a monomer; and a polyol that has hydroxyl groups that are linked by a chain having 6 or more carbon atoms.
Radiation-curable coating composition, method for producing scratch-resistant coatings, use of the coating composition, and substrate coated with a coating composition
The present invention relates to a radiation-curable coating composition, especially for producing a scratch-resistant coating on polycarbonate surfaces, comprising at least one urethane acrylate of an isocyanurate trimer of 1,6-hexamethylene diisocyanate and butanediol monoacrylate. The invention also relates to a method for producing scratch-resistant coatings on polycarbonate surfaces, to the use of the coating composition, and to a substrate coated accordingly.
POLYURETHANE MATERIAL WITH A HIGH TEMPERATURE RESISTANCE
Described herein is a process for preparing a polyurethane-type fiber composite material, said process including (a) di- and/or polyisocyanates, (b) compounds having isocyanate-reactive hydrogen atoms, (c) compounds including at least one carbon-carbon double bond, (d) optionally a catalyst to hasten a urethane reaction, (e) optionally a free-radical initiator, and (f) optionally further auxiliary and added-substance materials, being mixed into a reaction mixturewith concomitant wetting of a fiber materialand cured. Also described herein is a polyurethane-type fiber composite material obtainable by a process described herein and also to a method of using the polyurethane-type fiber composite material as a structural component part.
THIOURETHANE POLYMERS, METHOD OF SYNTHESIS THEREOF AND USE IN FUSED FILAMENT FABRICATION PRINTING
A thermoplastic thiourethane polymer comprising a sequential chain of a first type of monomer covalently bonded to a second type of monomer via thiourethane linkages. The first type of monomer includes two or more thiol functional groups and the type of monomer includes two or more isocyanate functional groups. The first and second types of monomers are polymerized together in an anhydrous aprotic solvent-dissolved anionic step-growth polymerization reaction that is catalyzed by a non-nucleophillic base having a pKa greater than 7.
Polyurethanes, polyurethane foams and methods for their manufacture
Polyurethane foams are described, as well as the production of such polyurethane foams by the reaction between a natural polyol, such as sucrose or a blend of mono- or disaccharides in place of the standard hydrocarbon-based polyol component, an ionic liquid or a deep eutectic solvent, a polyisocyanate and water in the presence of a suitable polyurethane forming catalyst and optionally a flame retardant, and optionally one or more components such as surfactants and/or emulsifiers. The resultant polyurethane foam can exhibit a bio-based solid content ranging from about 17% to 30%, may be formulated in a variety of foam densities for a variety of applications, and in the instance where a flame retardant has been added in an appropriate amount, exhibits a high degree of fire and burn resistance, as exhibited by the flame spread index and/or the smoke spread values.

The present invention relates to a polyisocyanate composition comprising, on the basis of the total mass of the polyisocyanate composition, 97 mass % or more of a polyisocyanate; and 2.0 mass ppm to 1.010.sup.4 mass ppm of a compound represented by the formula (1): ##STR00001## wherein R.sup.1 is an aliphatic group having 6 to 70 carbon atoms, R.sup.2 is an aromatic ring, a is an integer of 1 to 5, b is an integer of 0 to 4, and the sum of a and b is 2 to 5.

The invention also relates to a method for producing scratch-resistant coatings on polycarbonate surfaces, to the use of the coating composition, and to a substrate coated accordingly.
