Non-fluoro hydrophobic aqueous-based polyurethane resin dispersion, and production method and use thereof

The present invention provides a cross-linking non-fluoro hydrophobic aqueous polyurethane dispersion, which is produced by selecting a compound comprising alcohols, amines, acids, saturated or unsaturated (double-bonded or epoxidized) aliphatic long chain carbon-carbon groups or polydimethylsiloxane comprising alcohol groups, amines, oxosilane to be reacted with IPDI to obtain a PU prepolymer; adding a compound having tertiary amines to neutralize the carboxylic acid of PU prepolymer and adding water to disperse the PU prepolymer; and adding a ambient temperature cross-linking agent to obtain a cross-linking hydrophobic aqueous PU dispersion of the present invention. The hydrophobic aqueous-based PU resin has no fluorine which is friendly to the environment, and may further self cross-links on its applications on fabric, paper, wood, glass and metal surfaces, respectively on drying at ambient temperature which is energy saving process. Its cross-linking reaction of this hydrophobic PU system that will achieve a long-lasting water repellent surface treatment.

PREPARATION AND APPLICATION OF DYNAMIC NON-WICKING PU FOAM

Disclosed are a dynamic non-wicking PU foam and preparation and application thereof The PU foam is prepared from polyether polyol, toluene-2,4-diisocyanate, non-wicking additive and auxiliary agent. The dynamic non-wicking additive is composed of carboxylic acids, amines and alkyl alcohols in any proportion. The auxiliary agent is composed of silicone surfactant, amine promoter, tin catalyst, pigment and water. The dynamic non-wicking PU foam has a high stability and an extremely non-wicking effect. The shoes made of the dynamic non-wicking PU foam also have extremely good dynamic non-wicking and waterproof effects, thus ensuring both comfort and stability of quality.

Solvent for aromatic carboxylic or sulfonic acids

A method for preparing an acid solution by contacting at least one aromatic carboxylic or sulfonic acid with at least one polyether having blocked hydroxyl groups as a solvent. The polyether having blocked hydroxyl groups is not volatile and exhibits a surprisingly high dissolving capacity for the aromatic carboxylic or sulfonic acid. The acid solution is very compatible in curable compositions and does not cause any emission or odor or migration effects. The acid solution is particularly suitable as a constituent of polyurethane compositions having latent curing agents for accelerating the hydrolysis of the latent reactive groups.

Polyurethane rigid foam

A foam-forming composition for producing a rigid polyurethane foam including: (a) at least one isocyanate component; and (b) at least one isocyanate-reactive composition including: (bi) a rigid polyol compound; and (bii) a flexible polyol compound; (c) a catalyst package including at least one latent gelling catalyst; and (d) at least one blowing agent.

Provided are a curable composition, a cured body thereof or a thermal interface material (TIM), and a use thereof, wherein the curable composition or thermal interface material, and the like can exhibit low adhesion force to a given adherend while exhibiting high thermal conductivity, and the low adhesion force can be achieved without using an adhesion force adjusting component such as a plasticizer or in a state where the use ratio thereof is minimized. The curable composition can also exhibit a precisely controlled curing rate and simultaneously have excellent curability.

FLUORINE-CONTAINING COMPOUND

Provided is a novel fluorine-containing compound by means of a fluorine-containing compound which has: a moiety derived from an active hydrogen-containing compound (a); a moiety derived from an active hydrogen-reactive compound (b); and NHCO derived from the compound (a) and the compound (b). The compound (a) includes a compound (a1) having Rf1 or Rf2 or the compound (b) includes a compound (b1) having Rf1 or Rf2. Rf1 is CF3, CF2H or CFH2. Rf2 is CF2 or CFH. Rf1 and Rf2 are not a part of a fluoroalkyl group having 2 or more carbon atoms.

A composition for use as a drier in auto-oxidizable coatings or as an accelerator in unsaturated polyester resins comprises a manganese-bearing polymer having a manganese dicarboxylate repeating unit and at least one nitrogen-containing donor ligand. Such compositions offer excellent drying performances. They ensure a strongly reduced leachability of manganese compared to that of known manganese-bearing driers.
