The present invention provides fire-retarded rigid polyurethane foam comprising the reaction product of polyol and isocyanate foam forming components and a dialkyl phosphorus-containing compound, namely a reactive mono-hydroxyl-functional dialkyl phosphinates, as flame retardant, serving as highly efficient reactive flame retardant in said rigid polyurethane foam.

The present disclosure provides for articles formed of a filled polymeric resin material. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to polymeric resin materials that include a filler that includes of a mixture of cured rubber granules, foam granules, and/or textile fibers. The filler can be suspended in and/or encapsulated by the polymeric resin material. The polymeric resin material, the filler, or both can include waste or scrap material from manufacturing or from ground post-consumer waste.

Polyurethane dispersions

The present disclosure is drawn to polyurethane dispersions. In one example, a polyurethane dispersion can include a polyurethane with a polymeric ionic side chain and a polymeric non-ionic side chain. The polyurethane can be formed of polymerized monomers including a diisocyanate, a first polymeric diol, and a second polymeric diol. The first polymeric diol can include a first polymer chain replacing a hydrogen atom of a thiol group of a 1-thioglycerol molecule. The first polymer chain can include a block of a polymerized ionic group-containing vinyl monomer. The second polymeric diol can include a second polymer chain replacing a hydrogen atom of a thiol group of a 1-thioglycerol molecule. The second polymer chain can include a block of a polymerized non-ionic vinyl monomer, and the second polymer chain can be devoid of ionic groups.

Polyurethane dispersions

The present disclosure is drawn to polyurethane dispersions. In one example, a polyurethane dispersion can include a polyurethane with a polymeric ionic side chain and a polymeric non-ionic side chain. The present disclosure provides a liquid-state reactive polyurethane adhesive, which includes a polyurethane prepolymer. The polyurethane prepolymer is blocked by an isocyanate group, and the polyurethane prepolymer is obtained by a polymerization reaction, a reactive monomer of the polymerization reaction includes a polyisocyanate, a polyol, a stabilizer, a catalyst and a hydrophobic filler. A functionality of the polyisocyanate is 2.4 to 3. A molecular weight of the polyol is 1000 to 8000, and the polyol has hydrolysis resistance. The stabilizer has a structure represented by formula (I). The catalyst has a structure represented by formula (II). Formula (I) and formula (II) are as defined in the specification.

Liquid-state reactive polyurethane adhesive

The present disclosure provides a liquid-state reactive polyurethane adhesive, which includes a polyurethane prepolymer. The polyurethane prepolymer is blocked by an isocyanate group, and the polyurethane prepolymer is obtained by a polymerization reaction, a reactive monomer of the polymerization reaction includes a polyisocyanate, a polyol, a stabilizer, a catalyst and a hydrophobic filler. A functionality of the polyisocyanate is 2.4 to 3. A molecular weight of the polyol is 1000 to 8000, and the polyol has hydrolysis resistance. The stabilizer has a structure represented by formula (I). The catalyst has a structure represented by formula (II). Formula (I) and formula (II) are as defined in the specification.

WATER-DISPERSIBLE POLYISOCYANATE, AQUEOUS POLYURETHANE RESIN COMPOSITION, AND ARTICLE

A water-dispersible polyisocyanate contains an isocyanate group and a sulfone group. The water-dispersible polyisocyanate contains a reaction product of a polyisocyanate component and a hydrophilic active hydrogen component. The polyisocyanate component contains a bis(isocyanatomethyl)cyclohexane derivative. The hydrophilic active hydrogen component contains a sulfone group-containing active hydrogen compound. The bis(isocyanatomethyl)cyclohexane derivative contains an allophanate derivative and an isocyanurate derivative. The allophanate derivative is contained in an amount of 25% by mass or more and 75% by mass or less relative to the total amount of the allophanate derivative and the isocyanurate derivative.
