Process for the production of brominated polyether polyols
The present invention relates to brominated polyether polyols, processes for the production as well as intermediates useful in the production of the same and to processes for the preparation of flame-retardant blends, premixes as well as polyurethane foams.
(PER)FLUOROPOLYETHER POLYMERS
The present invention relates to a novel process for the synthesis of (per)fluoropolyether polymers, to certain novel (per)fluoropolyether polymers. The present invention also relates to the use of the (per)fluoropolyether polymers thus obtained as intermediate compounds for the manufacture of further polymers suitable for use as lubricants, notably for magnetic recording media (MRM).
Method for producing perfluoropolyether acyl fluoride
A process for producing a perfluoropolyether acyl fluoride which includes reducing a peroxyperfluoropolyether by using a formyl group-containing compound in the presence of a transition metal catalyst.
PEGYLATED RESOLVING AGENTS FOR IMPROVED RESOLUTION OF RACEMIC MIXTURE
The present invention is related to a product for the resolution of racemic mixtures in which various separation processes of a salt composed of a PEGylated resolving agent and an enantiomer in a racemic mixture is utilized. Separation can be caused by temperature-dependent phase transformation of the said salt pair in aqueous or organic media as well as other methods used is separation of PEG such as salting out (e.g. addition of ammonium sulfate). The first cycle of racemic resolution by this method was shown to afford 85% optically pure amino acid from a 50:50 mixture of racemic L,D-amino acids esters. An additional cycle improved optical purity up to 95%.
