Alkylene oxide polymer endcapped with an aryl ether alkoxylate block copolymer
The present invention relates to a compound comprising a hydrophobically modified poly(oxyalkylene-urethane) having a hydrophobic fragment represented by Structure I: ##STR00001## where Ar.sup.1, Ar.sup.2; R.sup.1, m, and n are defined herein. The compound of the present invention provides viscosity stability upon tinting for paints containing a hydrophobically modified poly(oxyalkylene-urethane) rheology modifier, more particularly a HEUR rheology modifier.
Conjugates of a factor VIII moiety having an oxime-containing linkage
The present disclosure provides conjugates comprising a Factor VIII moiety covalently attached via an oxime-containing linkage to a water-soluble polymer, such as for example, a polyethylene glycol polymer. Methods for preparing and for administering such conjugates, are also provided, as are water-soluble polymer oxyamine reagents useful for preparing the subject conjugates, among other things.

PROCESS FOR REDUCING ALDEHYDE EMISSIONS IN POLYETHER POLYOLS AND POLYURETHANE FOAMS
Polyurethane foams are made by curing a reaction mixture that contains an aromatic polyisocyanate, at least one iso-cyanate-reactive material having an average functionality of at least 2 and an equivalent weight of at least 200 per isocyanate-reactive group, at least one blowing agent, at least one surfactant and at least one catalyst, a certain β-diketone compound and a water-soluble amino-functional polymer. Foams so produced emit low levels of aldehydes.
Method for producing binder resin, method for producing resin composition, binder resin, and resin composition
A method for producing a binder resin by a reaction of a cellulose derivative, a polyvinyl acetal, and a bonding agent that has in the molecule at least two functional groups that can react to hydroxyl groups in the polyvinyl acetal and the cellulose derivative. In the production method, the content of the bonding agent is at least double the molar quantity of whichever has the greater number of moles between the polyvinyl acetal and the cellulose derivative. The produced binder resin is favorable in a coating paste such as a conductive paste, and causes an improvement in film quality such as the smoothness and denseness of a coating film formed by the paste.

POLYMER FILM AND ANTIADHESIVE MATERIAL USING THE SAME
A polymer film can be adjusted to movement or a fine uneven surface of a living body and has excellent ability to adhere to a biological tissue. The polymer film includes a block copolymer having a structure in which branched polyalkylene glycol and polyhydroxyalkanoic acid are bound to each other, wherein the polymer film has a film thickness of 10 to 1000 nm. The branched polyalkylene glycol has at least three terminal hydroxyl groups per molecule, the mass percentage of the branched polyalkylene glycol relative to the total mass of the block copolymer is 1% to 30%, and a value obtained by dividing the average molecular weight of polyhydroxyalkanoic acid in the block copolymer by X that is the number of terminal hydroxyl groups present per a single molecule of the branched polyalkylene glycol is 10000 to 30000.
