Metal-based particle assembly
There is provided a metal-based particle assembly comprising 30 or more metal-based particles separated from each other and disposed in two dimensions, the metal-based particles having an average particle diameter in a range of from 200 to 1600 nm, an average height in a range of from 55 to 500 nm, and an aspect ratio, as defined by a ratio of the average particle diameter to the average height, in a range of from 1 to 8, wherein the metal-based particles are disposed such that an average distance between adjacent metal-based particles may be in a range of from 1 to 150 nm. This metal-based particle assembly presents significantly intense plasmon resonance and also allows plasmon resonance to have an effect over a range extended to a significantly large distance.
POLYMER POLY (TRIPHENYLACRYLONITRITE) AND SYNTHESIS THEREOF
A method is directed to synthesis of poly(triphenylacrylonitrite)s (PTPANs) comprising polycoupling dibromoarenes, internal diynes, and potassium ferrocyanide, resulting in polycoupled dibromoarenes, internal diynes, and potassium ferrocyanide; and producing poly(triphenylacrylonitrite)s (PTPANs) by catalysis of the polycoupled dibromoarenes, internal diynes, and potassium ferrocyanide with palladium acetate and sodium bicarbonate, wherein the catalysis is allowed to proceed in dimethylacetamide under nitrogen at a prescribed temperature for a prescribed time. Further, poly(triphenylacrylonitrite)s (PTPANs) is a polymer and comprises a backbone structure of

Narrow-Range Polyacetylene Ester Compound and Preparation Method Therefor
Provided herein is a narrow-range polyacetylene ester compound and a preparation method. The narrow-range polyacetylene ester compound has a structural formula as represented by formula (I). The method includes: in atmospheric carbon dioxide environment, a bifunctional alkyne monomer, carbon dioxide, and a dihalide monomer perform polymerization reaction by means of a combined action of a catalyzer and alkali, dissolve the product into an organic solvent, then add same to a precipitant for precipitation, collect precipitates, and dry same to the constant weight to obtain the narrow-range polyacetylene ester compound. The reaction is carried out in atmospheric carbon dioxide atmosphere, and carbon dioxide is involved as a monomer in the formation of a polymer. The obtained narrow-range polyacetylene ester compound has good thermal stability and excellent processability. Due to introduction of an aggregation-induced emission group, some polymers show a typical aggregation-induced emission performance.

Gold Catalyzed Polymerization Reactions of Unsaturated Substrates
The present invention provides novel methods and processes for polymerizing unsaturated substrates, such as alkyne bearing monomers, with arenes. The polymerizations are catalyzed by gold (Au) catalysts/complexes and/or other cocatalysts. The invention further provides novel structurally complex polymers prepared in high yield via an intermolecular polyhydroarylation mechanism. Such resulting products comprise oligomeric and polymeric materials with novel molecular architectures and microstructures, which subsequently impart unique properties. The invention includes both the synthesis methods and processes and the resulting compounds and compositions of matter.
LIGAND-CONTAINING CONJUGATED MICROPOROUS POLYMER AND USE THEREOF
The present invention relates to a ligand-containing conjugated microporous polymer, which is obtained by covalent coupling of a conjugated microporous polymer and a uranium complexing ligand. The conjugated microporous polymer comprises an aromatic ring and/or a heterocyclic ring. The uranium complexing ligand is selected from the group consisting of a compound with a group containing phosphorus, a compound with a group containing nitrogen, and a compound with a group containing sulfur. The invention further provides use of the ligand-containing conjugated microporous polymer as a uranium adsorbent. The ligand-containing conjugated microporous polymer the invention is capable of adsorbing the radioactive element uranium in strongly acidic and strong-radiation environments.
