Optical film having organic and inorganic particles of different sizes, and polarizing plate comprising same
The present invention relates to a resin composition for forming an optical film, an optical film, and a polarizing plate, in which the resin composition for forming an optical film improves adhesion between an antiglare layer and a light-transmitting substrate film and enables the antiglare layer and the optical film to exhibit excellent optical properties such as appropriate haze, low gloss value, and excellent antiglare properties. The composition for forming an optical film is a resin composition for forming an optical film for forming an infiltration layer and an antiglare layer having surface irregularities on a light-transmitting substrate film, and comprises: a binder-forming compound including a polyfunctional (meth)acrylate-based compound having three or more functionalities, and a permeable compound having a hydrophilic functional group and a photo-curable functional group; two or more light-transmitting fine particles having a sub-micron (sub-μm) scale; and a permeable solvent capable of dissolving at least a part of the light-transmitting substrate film, wherein the binder-forming compound and the permeable solvent have a weight ratio of 1:0.04 or more.
POLYMER ADDITIVE COMPRISING ZWITTERIONIC MOIETIES FOR PVDF BASED MEMBRANES
The present invention pertains to composition suitable for manufacturing membranes based on vinylidene fluoride (VDF) polymers, to porous membranes thereof, to methods for their manufacture and to uses thereof, especially for the filtration of water phases. Said composition comprising vinylidene fluoride (VDF) polymers and polymer additives comprising zwitterionic moieties delivers outstanding hydrophilization performances of manufactured membranes.

THERMOPLASTIC RESIN COMPOSITION AND MOLDED ARTICLE THEREOF
A thermoplastic resin composition and a molded article including the same are disclosed in which the thermoplastic resin composition includes 100 parts by weight of a base resin including an acrylate-aromatic vinyl compound-vinyl cyanide compound graft copolymer; and 0.5 to 10 parts by weight of a matting agent having a refractive index of 1.46 to 1.53, and a molded article including the thermoplastic resin composition, wherein the thermoplastic resin composition satisfies Equations 1 and 2 below:
G≤20, [Equation 1] wherein G denotes the gloss of a sheet having a size of 0.15 T as measured at 60° using a gloss meter,
Hz<Tt, [Equation 2] wherein Hz and Tt denote the haze (%) and total light transmittance (%) of a sheet having a size of 0.15 T, respectively.
PIEZOELECTRIC POLYMER BLEND AND COMPOSITE COMPOSITIONS INCLUDING LITHIUM-DOPED POTASSIUM SODIUM NIOBATE
A polymer composite exhibiting piezoelectric properties can be formed for flexible and/or thin film applications, in which the polymer composite includes a polymer matrix and a piezoelectric ceramic filler embedded in the polymer matrix. The polymer matrix may include at least two polymers: a first polymer and a second polymer. The first polymer may be a fluorinated polymer, and the second polymer may be compatible with the first polymer and have a dielectric constant of less than approximately 20. The piezoelectric ceramic filler can be lithium doped potassium sodium niobite (KNLN), and be approximately 40-70% by volume of the polymer composite. The remaining 30-60% by volume may be the polymer matrix, which may itself be approximately 5-20% by weight second polymer and 80-95% fluorinated polymer.
Matted polyamide-pud
Polymers are disclosed that incorporate portions of secondary or tertiary polyamide segments connected with polyisocyanates. These polymers have enhanced matting properties. The enhanced matting properties are from creating an inherently matt surface from the polymer without the use of any separate fine particle size matting additives. Conventional matting agents such as fine particle size silica usually results in loss of physical properties such as haze development and porosity in the coating from the matting agent. Composites and hybrids of these polymers and other polyamides, polyurethane with vinyl polymers (acrylates) are also disclosed and claimed.
