One of the objects the present invention to provide a cured product of a thermally conductive silicone composition having high thermal conductivity and excellent compressibility. A silicone composition comprising an organo(poly)siloxane and a thermally conductive filler, wherein the organo(poly)siloxane comprises at least one curable organo(poly)siloxane, the thermally conductive filler comprises (B-i) unsintered aluminum nitride having an average particle size of 20 μm or more and 120 μm or less and (B-ii) alumina having an average particle size of 0.1 μm or more and 5 μm or less, the (B-ii) alumina comprises spherical alumina with 25 to 80 mass % of the spherical alumina, based on a total mass of the component (B-ii), a proportion of the component (B-ii) is 25 to 50 mass %, based on a total mass of the components (B-i) and (B-ii), and a proportion of a volume of the thermally conductive filler is 80 to 90 volume %, based on a total volume of the silicone composition.

The present invention aims to provide a urethane resin and a heat dissipation component each having excellent thermal conductivity and excellent flexibility. The present invention relates to a curable composition containing: a polyol (A); a polyisocyanate (B); at least one dispersant (C) for inorganic fillers selected from the group consisting of a phosphate ester (C1), a C12-C24 fatty acid (C2), a sucrose fatty acid ester (C3), a sorbitan fatty acid ester (C4), and a glycerol fatty acid ester (C5); and an inorganic filler (D), the curable composition satisfying the following requirements (1) to (3) that (1) the polyol (A) contains a polyalkylene glycol (A1) having a chemical formula weight or number average molecular weight of 1000 or less in an amount of 50% by weight or more based on the weight of the polyol (A); (2) the inorganic filler (D) is contained in an amount of 70 to 97% by weight based on the weight of the curable composition; and (3) the total weight of the dispersant (C) for inorganic fillers is 1 to 5 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the inorganic filler (D), the phosphate ester (C1) being represented by the following formula (1):

A silicone gel composition of the present invention contains the following components; A 100 parts by mass of an organopolysiloxane that is curable by an addition reaction; B. 0.01 to 10 parts by mass of an unsaturated hydrocarbon compound having one alkenyl group per molecule; and C. an addition reaction curing catalyst in a catalytic amount. The unsaturated hydrocarbon compound is at least one selected from the group consisting of an a-olefin that is liquid at room temperature (25° C.) and does not volatilize or decompose at 100° C. and α-methylstyrene. A silicone gel sheet of the present invention is obtained by molding the silicone gel composition into a sheet, and curing the sheet.

THERMALLY CONDUCTIVE COMPOSITION AND CURED PRODUCT THEREOF

Provided is a thermally conductive composition containing a liquid resin, a thermally conductive powder, and a dispersant, in which the liquid resin has a viscosity of 10 mPa.Math.s or more and 2,000 mPa.Math.s or less at 25° C., the dispersant is an acrylic silicone, and at least one of the liquid resin and the thermally conductive powder contains an alkyl group having 4 or more carbon atoms.

Prosthetic valves, valve leaflets and related methods

Examples herein include prosthetic valves, valve leaflets and related methods. In an example, a prosthetic valve is included having a plurality of leaflets. The leaflets can each have a root portion and an edge portion substantially opposite the root portion and movable relative to the root portion. The leaflets can include a fibrous matrix including polymeric fibers having an average diameter of about 10 nanometers to about 10 micrometers. A coating can surround the polymeric fibers within the fibrous matrix. The coating can have a thickness of about 3 to about 30 nanometers. The coating can be formed of a material selected from the group consisting of a metal oxide, a nitride, a carbide, a sulfide, or fluoride. In an example, a method of making a valve is included. Other examples are also included herein.

An unsaturated polyester resin composition includes a resin component containing an unsaturated polyester and a polymerizable monomer, an aluminum hydroxide, and an expandable graphite. The mixing ratio of the aluminum hydroxide to 100 parts by mass of the resin component is 50 parts by mass or more and 300 parts by mass or less. The mixing ratio of the expandable graphite to 100 parts by mass of the resin component is 3 parts by mass or more and 10 parts by mass or less. The expandable graphite has an average particle size of 150 μm or less.

A heat insulation pad and method of making the same, battery assembly and device are provided. In some embodiments, the heat insulation pad includes silicon rubber and aerogel dispersed in the silicon rubber, wherein the heat insulation pad satisfies that: a temperature difference between a surface on one side of the heat insulation pad and a surface on the other side opposite to the one side is ≥150° C., when the surface on one side of the heat insulation pad is contacted with hot surface having a temperature of 600° C. for 5 minutes under a pressure of 0.9 MPa followed by pressure relief and then is contacted with hot surface having a temperature of 600° C. for another 20 minutes. By using the heat insulation pad of the present disclosure, the safety performance of the battery assembly and of the device can be improved.

A method for producing a thermally conductive sheet S includes a step of obtaining a thermally conductive composition by mixing a reactive liquid resin, which forms a rubbery or gelatinous matrix when crosslinked, a volatile liquid having a boiling point 10° C. or more higher than a curing temperature of the reactive liquid resin, and a thermally conductive filler; a step of forming a molded body by crosslinking and curing the reactive liquid resin at a temperature 10° C. or more lower than the boiling point of the volatile liquid; and a step of evaporating the volatile liquid by heating the molded body, in which these steps are performed sequentially.

The dental restorative material of the present invention is a dental restorative material that contains a resin matrix and an inorganic filler in an amount of 25 to 1,000 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the resin matrix, and in the dental restorative material, the resin matrix contains a polyurethane resin, and the inorganic filler has an average particle diameter of 0.001 to 100 μm. According to the present invention, a dental restorative material that has a high bending strength and a high surface hardness, and is excellent in transparency and cutting workability, and a resin material for dental cutting work containing the same can be provided.
