The polycarbonate resin composition includes: a polycarbonate resin; a metal compound; and a glass transition temperature regulator, wherein the glass transition temperature regulator contains phosphorus. The polycarbonate resin composition and a molded article manufactured using the same can have excellent properties in terms of impact resistance, flowability, and plating adhesive strength.

A crosslinking polyvinyl acetate (XPVAc or X-PVAc) adhesive is applied as a primer (i.e., a basecoat) or an exterior coat (i.e., a top coat) on a wood preservation product which is mainly treated with a water-based preservative. By sealing the exterior wood surfaces, the new coating system not only effectively prevents the leaching of the preservative by bonding and chelating with the unfixed preservative compounds or complexes at the surface layer, but it also significantly reduces surface aging of wood, maintains effective preservation functions, and provides a longer service life to the wood preservation product.

Flame retardant thermoplastic compositions that are capable of being used in a laser direct structuring process. The compositions include a thermoplastic resin, a laser direct structuring additive, and a flame retardant. Further embodiments provide compositions further comprising one or more organic, metallic, or mineral fillers, pigments, or combinations thereof. Also disclosed are methods of preparing these compositions and articles produced therefrom.

A polycarbonate resin composition, according to the present invention, comprises: a polycarbonate resin; a polyester resin; and a metal compound, wherein the content ratio of the polycarbonate resin and polyester resin is from approximately 4:1 to approximately 9:1. The polycarbonate resin composition and a molded product using same have excellent physical properties, such as impact resistance, fluidity and the like, as well as excellent exterior and plating adhesion.
