A decorative sheet according to an embodiment of the present disclosure contains a film layer having an upper face and a lower face, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer adhered to the lower face of the film layer, the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer containing an acrylic-based adhesive and 5 part by mass to 10 part by mass % of ammonium polyphosphate per 100 part by mass of the acrylic-based adhesive.

Intumescent grid

An intumescent mesh has a flexible grid with a plurality of strands that form a series of openings in the flexible grid, and an intumescent coating applied to the flexible grid. The intumescent coating is made of an expandable graphite and a polymer-based carrier as ingredients and having an activation temperature above which the intumescent coating swells. The grid is sized such that the intumescent coating permits airflow through the flexible grid until the intumescent coating is exposed to temperatures at or above the activation temperature, whereupon the intumescent coating swells to seal the openings and prevent air flow through the flexible grid.

LOW COMBUSTIBILITY ADHESIVE COMPOSITION WITH LAYERED CONSTRUCTION

The present disclosure relates to a low-combustibility film construction. The film construction includes a film layer, a first adhesive layer with a fire-retardant additive of at least 41% by weight and a second adhesive layer. The total thickness of the adhesive layers is in the range of 18.5 to 44.5 microns. The total thickness of the fire retardant adhesive layer is 32% to 85% of the total adhesive thickness.

The composition includes a component (A) and/or a component (B), and a component (C). It is preferable that the composition contains the component (C) in an amount of 0.1 to 50 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of a total of the components (A) and (B). The invention relates to a flame retardant polypropylene composition comprising (A) a polypropylene-based polymer, (B) a first flame retardant in an amount of 15 to 40 wt % of the total composition, wherein the first flame retardant is in the form of particles comprising ammonium polyphosphate and at least one phosphate selected from the group consisting of melamine phosphate, melamine polyphosphate, melamine pyrophosphate, piperazine phosphate, piperazine polyphosphate, piperazine pyrophosphate, 2-methylpiperazine monophosphate, tricresyl phosphate, alkyl phosphates, haloalkyl phosphates, tetraphenyl pyrophosphate, poly(2-hydroxy propylene spirocyclic pentaerythritol bisphosphate) and poly(2,2-dimethylpropylene spirocyclic pentaerythritol bisphosphonate) and (C) a second flame retardant in an amount of 0.1 to 15 wt % of the total composition, wherein the second flame retardant comprises an aromatic phosphate ester.

Flame retardant additive for a low smoke, zero halogen compound

A low smoke, zero halogen (LSZH) polymer composition is provided. The LSZH polymer composition includes a polymer resin, and a flame retardant package dispersed within the polymer resin. Less than 25% by weight of the polymer composition is the flame retardant package. The flame retardant package includes an acid source, a carbon source, and an LSZH additive. The LSZH additive includes a polyoxometalate ionic liquid and a synergist carrier. The LSZH polymer composition has a limiting oxygen index of greater than 31%. The LSZH polymer compound is suitable for use in electrical or tele-communication cables.

An unsaturated polyester resin composition includes an unsaturated polyester, a polymerizable monomer, a low profile agent, and aluminum hydroxide. The unsaturated polyester is a polymerized product of polybasic acid and polyhydric alcohol. The polybasic acid contains unsaturated polybasic acid, and the unsaturated polybasic acid is blended in an amount of 80 mol % or more relative to 100 mol % the polybasic acid. The low profile agent contains polyvinyl acetate, and the polyvinyl acetate is blended in an amount of 3 parts by mass or more and 10 parts by mass or less relative to 100 parts by mass of a total amount of the unsaturated polyester, polymerizable monomer, and low profile agent. The aluminum hydroxide is blended in an amount of 150 parts by mass or more and 300 parts by mass or less relative to 100 parts by mass of a total amount of the unsaturated polyester, polymerizable monomer, and low profile agent.

Fire protection composition and use thereof

The invention relates to a fire protection composition comprising: a binder based on an aqueous, or solvent-based polymer dispersion; fire protection additives comprising a physically acting expanding agent, a compound containing phosphorus, selected from among salts or esters of phosphorus oxyacids, and glass fiber; and an acid-resistant, inorganic filler. The invention also relates to the use of said composition as a sealing mass, in particular as a fire protection sealing mass.
