PIGMENT DISPERSION

Reactive liquids diluent and reactive dispersing agents for fluid concentrates, colorants and coating compositions, wherein the reactive liquid diluent and reactive dispersing agents have a viscosity less than 1,000 cps and contain at least one molecular species having at least three reactive unsaturated sites. The reactive liquid diluent or dispersing agent may be included a coating composition to form an interpenetrating polymer network in, or crosslink with, a pigmented coating composition containing a film-forming polymeric binder.

PIGMENT PARTICLE TEMPLATE AND METHOD OF FABRICATING SAME, AND METHOD OF FABRICATING PIGMENT DISPERSION LIQUID

A pigment particle template and a method of fabricating the same, and a method of fabricating a pigment dispersion liquid are described. The method of fabricating the pigment particle template has steps of: providing a substrate; forming a covalent organic framework layer on the substrate, wherein the covalent organic framework layer has porous network structure; forming a first porous organic layer on the covalent organic framework layer; and replacing the substrate with a second porous organic layer. The present application is beneficial to production of nanoparticles with controllable particle size and uniform size by utilizing a controllable size of the covalent organic framework structure and a stability of a sandwich structure.

Provided are a coloring composition capable of producing a film having excellent light fastness, and the like, a method for producing a coloring composition, a color filter, a pattern forming method, a solid-state imaging device, and an image display device. The coloring composition includes a coated pigment in which at least a portion of a surface of a yellow pigment is coated with a resin, a halogenated phthalocyanine pigment, a dispersant having an acid value of 40 mgKOH/g or more, and a curable compound.

Quinophthalone compound

A new yellow pigment excellent in both brightness and coloring power is provided. It has been found that dimerization of a specific quinophthalone skeleton gives more selective absorption and transmittance. Furthermore, the dimerization method was also studied, and it has been found that excessive reddish tone can be suppressed by cleaving the conjugate using a methylene chain as a spacer instead of simply employing a direct bond. In addition, dispersibility has been improved by polyhalogenation and introduction of an imide structure. Furthermore, a coloring agent containing the quinophthalone compound and a coloring composition containing the coloring agent are provided.
