ULTRAVIOLET CURABLE INKJET INK

By use of an ultraviolet curable inkjet ink comprising a colorant, a polymerizable monomer having a specific structure, ethoxyphenyl(2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl)phosphine oxide, and at least one type selected from the group consisting of an acylphosphine oxide photopolymerization initiator different than the ethoxyphenyl(2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl)phosphine oxide, a benzophenone photopolymerization initiator, and an indane photopolymerization initiator, wherein the ratio of the content of the polymerizable monomer having the specific structure and the content of the ethoxyphenyl(2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl)phosphine oxide is 2:1 to 8.5:1 by mass ratio, the content of a monofunctional monomer in the ultraviolet curable inkjet ink is 25% by mass or less, a printed matter having curability and coating film flexibility can be obtained regardless of the amount applied to a recording medium, and the discharge stability is also excellent.

An object is to achieve both good washing fastness and texture by combining a urethane resin of high fracture elongation with a small quantity of crosslinking agent. As a means for achieving the object, an inkjet ink composition for textile printing is provided that contains a pigment, a water-dispersible resin, a crosslinking agent, and water; wherein, as the water-dispersible resin, a resin of 1200 to 1800% in fracture elongation and 10 to 48 MPa in tensile strength is contained by 1.0 to 3.0 parts by mass relative to 1 part by mass of the pigment, and the crosslinking agent is contained by 0.03 to 0.17 parts by mass relative to 1 part by mass of the water-dispersible resin.

INK AND PREPARATION AND CURING METHODS THEREOF

An ink includes the following ingredients by weight: pigment: 5 to 10 wt %; dispersant: 1 to 5 wt %; photoinitiator: 5 to 8 wt %; monofunctional reactive monomer 10 to 15 wt %; multifunctional reactive monomer: 25 to 40 wt %; acrylic resin: 20 to 35 wt %; coupling agent: 2 to 5 wt %; defoamer: 0.1 to 1 wt %; and leveling agent: 0.1 to 1 wt %. The ink according to this application can concurrently meet various performance requirements such as deep curing, high adhesion, high resistance to abrasion and perspiration, and ease of correction.
