A water-based ink for ink-jet recording includes: a pigment, resin particles, a solvent and water, wherein the resin particles are resin particles of an acrylic-based polymer; and a storage elastic modulus E at 25° C. of an ink film, of the water-based ink for ink-jet recording, which is dried and solidified is not less than 9.7×10.sup.8 Pa.
WHITE INKJET INK
An example of a white inkjet ink includes a non-self-dispersed white pigment; an anionic cellulose; a polymeric binder; and an aqueous vehicle. The anionic cellulose is present in an amount ranging from about 0.01 wt% to about 5 wt% based on a total weight of the white inkjet ink. The white inkjet ink may be used in a textile printing kit.

INKJET PRINTING PROCESS, INK SET OF INKJET INKS FOR FORMING AN IMAGE ON A SUBSTRATE
An inkjet printing process and an ink set for forming an image on a substrate by applying a plurality of inkjet inks of the ink set on the substrate. The plurality of inkjet inks include at least a first ink and a second ink, each ink comprising: a pigment and a block copolymer dispersant for dispersing the pigment. The block copolymer dispersant includes a first block and a second block where the second block is formed using at least one monomer M.sub.2, which monomer M.sub.2 is selected from the group consisting of a methacrylate and an acrylate, and where the monomer M.sub.2 is an anchoring monomer for anchoring to the pigment.

Opaque grey ink jet ink composition, comprising: a solvent comprising one or more organic solvent compound(s); b) a binder, comprising one or more binding resin(s); wherein the ink jet ink composition further comprises: one or more black pigment(s) and/or one or more black dye(s); one or more white pigment(s); wherein the one or more black pigment(s) and/or the one or more black dye(s) is(are) present in a total amount from 0.01% to 9% by weight, of the total weight of the ink jet ink composition; wherein the one or more white pigment(s) is(are) present in a total amount from 0.5% to 30% by weight, of the total weight of the ink jet ink composition; and wherein the ratio:amount by weight of the one or more black pigment(s) and/or the one or more black dye(s)/amount by weight of the one or more white pigment(s) is from 0.001 to 1.

Opaque grey ink jet ink composition, comprising: a solvent comprising one or more organic solvent compound(s); b) a binder, comprising one or more binding resin(s); wherein the ink jet ink composition further comprises: one or more black pigment(s) and/or one or more black dye(s); one or more white pigment(s); wherein the one or more black pigment(s) and/or the one or more black dye(s) is(are) present in a total amount from 0.01% to 9% by weight, of the total weight of the ink jet ink composition; wherein the one or more white pigment(s) is(are) present in a total amount from 0.5% to 30% by weight, of the total weight of the ink jet ink composition; and wherein the ratio:amount by weight of the one or more black pigment(s) and/or the one or more black dye(s)/amount by weight of the one or more white pigment(s) is from 0.001 to 1.
WATER-BASED INK
The present invention relates to a water-based ink that exhibits excellent ejection properties, and can be prevented from suffering from reduction in a dot size of the ink during a drying step thereof even when printed on a low-water absorbing recording medium, and is capable of obtaining printed characters or images having excellent uniformity, as well as an ink-jet printing method using the water-based ink. The water-based ink includes a pigment, a water-insoluble polymer, an acetylene glycol-based nonionic surfactant (A) having HLB of not less than 0 and not more than 5, a nonionic surfactant (B) having HLB of not less than 6 and not more than 20, a polyether-modified silicone (C) having a kinematic viscosity of not less than 30 mm.sup.2/s and not more than 190 mm.sup.2/s as measured at 25° C. and an organic solvent (D), in which a weighted mean value of a boiling point of the organic solvent (D) is not lower than 150° C. and not higher than 230° C.
WHITE INKS
The present disclosure provides a white ink including an aqueous ink vehicle, from 5 wt % to 50 wt % of a white metal oxide pigment having an average particulate size from 100 nm to 2,000 nm, from 0.02 wt % to 2 wt % of an anionic low molecular weight polymer having a weight average molecular weight of 3,000 Mw to 50,000 Mw and an acid number higher than 100 mg KOH/g based on dry polymer weight, and from 2 wt % to 30 wt % of latex particulates having a glass transition temperature from 0 C to 130 C. Furthermore, the white metal oxide pigment is dispersed by a non-ionic or predominantly non-ionic dispersant having an acid number not higher than 100 mg KOH/g based on dry polymer weight.
