ILLUMINATION CONTROL DEVICE OF SURGICAL LIGHT
A surgical lighting illumination control device includes a suspension system; light heads mounted on the suspension system and each including a housing, light sources mounted in the housing, an unsterilizable grip mounted on the housing for hand holding and moving the light heads, and detection pairs mounted to the unsterilizable grip for receiving an infrared signal that is transmitted therefrom and reflected by an external object for control and adjustment of the illumination, each detection pair including an infrared transmitter and an infrared receiver; a compensation control mechanism connected to the detection pairs and including a control operation unit and environment temperature compensation units connected to the control operation unit; and a sterilizable grip mountable to the unsterilizable grip and including a guide channel formed therein to correspond, in position, to each of the detection pairs to allow the infrared signal to pass therethrough.
HANDLE DEVICE FOR SURGICAL LIGHT COMPRISING SENSORS AS WELL AS SURGICAL LIGHT
The present application relates to a handle device for a surgical light. The handle device may include a grip element which is prepared for being arranged on a lamp holding body of the surgical light and which forms a grip surface at an outer area. A sensor module is detachably connected to the grip element, with the sensor module including at least one distance sensor which is designed for detecting a position of an object. The present application further includes a surgical light including such a handle device.
MULTI-STAGE ROTARY OVERTRAVEL STOP
A medical device assembly including a first member having a first abutment, a second member rotatably connected to the first member and having a second abutment, and an idler member having third abutment and a fourth abutment. The first member is rotatably fixed to the second member. The idler member is free to rotate relative to the first member and the second member until the first abutment abuts the third abutment and until the second abutment abuts the fourth abutment. The first member, the second member and the idler member all rotate relative to each other about a single axis.
HANDLE DEVICE FOR A SURGICAL LIGHT WITH VOICE CONTROL, AND SURGICAL LIGHT
The invention relates to a handle device for a surgical light, which comprises a handle element, prepared for attachment to a receiving body of the surgical light and forming a handle surface in an exterior region. A voice control module that has at least one acoustic sensor is detachably connected to the handle element. The invention further relates to a surgical light having said handle device.
LIGHT HEAD HAVING CAMERA ASSEMBLY INTEGRATED IN HANDLE AND SURGICAL LIGHTING SYSTEM INCLUDING SAME
A surgical lighting system includes a light head housing, a handle, and a camera. The light head housing includes a plurality of light emitting elements therein that are arranged to emit light downward to a region of interest. The handle is mounted to the light head housing and protrudes downward from the light head housing, the handle including a handle housing having a sufficient size to be gripped by the human hand. A camera is mounted within the handle housing, the camera having a field of view that encompasses at least a portion of the region of interest. The handle housing has an upper generally tubular section mounted to the light head housing and a lower generally tubular section extending downward from a bottom of the upper generally tubular section. The outer perimeter of the lower generally tubular section is relatively wider in axial cross section than the outer perimeter of the upper generally tubular section over a portion of the upper generally tubular section.
ADJUSTABLE SURGICAL LIGHT DEVICE AND SYSTEM
An adjustable light for a medical environment comprises a first housing adapted for engagement with a handle of an overhead light, a second housing including a lamp operatively connected to a power source for generating illuminating light, and a flexible shaft extending between and interconnecting the first housing at a proximal end of the shaft and the second housing at a distal end of the shaft. The first housing is adapted to be releasably coupled to the handle of the overhead light over a work area such that the flexible arm and the second housing are selectively movable relative to the first housing toward a target in the work area for illuminating the target.
LIGHTHEAD IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM FOR LIGHTHEAD CONTROL
A lighthead identification system for controlling lightheads of a surgical lighting system. The lighthead identification system includes illuminated indicator lights that visually indicate to an operator that an associated lighthead has been selected for adjusting parameter settings on a user interface.
STERILE HANDLE CONTROL MECHANISM
A method for controlling characteristics of light emitted from a surgical light includes remotely configuring a surgical light, using a remote computing system communicatively connected to the surgical light, by selecting which of a plurality of characteristics of light emitted from the surgical light are adjustable by operation of a handle assembly of the surgical light. The method includes adjusting, using the handle assembly, at least one characteristic of the plurality of characteristics of the light emitted from the surgical light according to the selection of which of the plurality of characteristics of light emitted from the surgical light are adjustable by operation of the handle assembly.
Oximeter with marking feature
A medical device such as an oximeter includes a marking feature. In an implementation, a marking mechanism of the device marks tissue based on a location of where a measurement was taken by the device. In an implementation, the marking mechanism of the device marks tissue based on an oxygen saturation measurement obtained by the device.
