APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR A TEMPERATURE RELEASED ADHESIVE STRUCTURE FOR USE WITH BANDAGES
An adhesive article that remains securely bonded to a substrate until a stimuli is applied. The article may be embodied as an adhesive tape, a bandage, or as other articles. The stimuli may be a change in temperature or application of a reduction that causes a structure within the article to break, creak, or otherwise disrupt to expose the adhesive to a solvent, such as via a difference in Coefficient of Thermal Expansion (CTE) or by exposing the article to a glass transition temperature.
Ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer resin composition and multi-layer structure comprising thereof
The present disclosure provides ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer resin compositions, and multilayer structure comprising the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer resin compositions with uniform thickness.
LABEL
A label comprising a body having a first side for attaching to a container and a second side for displaying information, the first side includes a releasable adhesive for attaching the label to a container, wherein the releasable adhesive is treatable to cause the label to be separated from the container, and at least a part of the body is heat sensitive such that the label curls towards the first side to conceal part of the releasable adhesive when the label is heated to hinder the label separated from the container from re-attaching to the container.
Adhesive tape and solar assembly and article made thereof
The invention provides a frameless photo-energy assembly including a photo-energy converter, wherein an edge of the photo-energy converter is sealed by an adhesive tape, comprising an adhering layer for adhesion and cushioning; and an aging-resistant protective layer. The adhering layer is used to contact the edge of an article and comprises: a substrate layer; optionally, a first adhesive layer and a second adhesive layer situated at both sides of the substrate layer oppositely, wherein the first adhesive layer being used to be contact with the article. The aging-resistant protective layer is situated on the adhering layer, which comprises: an optional primer layer, which is situated on the adhering layer; and a film layer, which is situated on either the primer layer or the substrate or the second adhesive layer. The invention further provides an adhesive tape for sealing an edge of an article and an article made of the assembly.
Adhesive tape
According to one embodiment, an adhesive tape includes a film and an adhesive layer. The film includes polytetrafluoroethylene and a carbon filler. The adhesive layer is provided on a surface of the film, and includes a silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive.
COMPOSITE ENCAPSULATING MATERIAL AND PHOTOVOLTAIC MODULE INCLUDING THE SAME
Provided is a composite encapsulating material and a photovoltaic module encapsulated with the composite encapsulating material, which relate to the technical field of photovoltaic modules. At least a partial area of the composite encapsulating material includes a high insulation material, and the high insulation material includes polyimide, modifier and modified polyimide. The above technical solution can improve an insulation performance of the encapsulating material, reduce a blank area of an edge of the module, reduce a weight of the photovoltaic module, and further reduce comprehensive cost of the photovoltaic module.
NON-CONDUCTIVE FILM AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF SEMICONDUCTOR LAMINATE
The present disclosure relates to a non-conductive film comprising an adhesive layer containing a low molecular weight epoxy resin; and a tacky layer containing a predetermined composition, and a method for manufacturing a semiconductor laminate using the non-conductive film.
METHOD FOR MITIGATING PASSIVE INTERMODULATION
Materials and methods for mitigating passive intermodulation. A membrane for reducing passive intermodulation includes a first polymeric layer, a second polymeric layer, and a continuous metal layer encapsulated between the first and second polymeric layers. A self-adhesive radio frequency barrier tape includes a waterproof polymeric top layer, a metal-containing layer adhered by an adhesive layer to the polymeric top layer, a pressure sensitive adhesive layer adhered to the metal-containing layer, and a release liner on a bottom surface of the pressure sensitive adhesive layer. A method of mitigating passive intermodulation includes passing a probe over an area of interest, the probe being sensitive to an intermodulation frequency of interest, and identifying a suspected source of passive intermodulation when the amplitude of the probe output exceeds a threshold at the frequency of interest. The method further includes covering the suspected passive intermodulation source with a radio frequency barrier material.
UV-CROSSLINKED HOT-MELT PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE USED FOR POLYVINYL CHLORIDE INSULATION ADHESIVE TAPE
The present invention provides a UV-crosslinked hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive used for a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation adhesive tape, made by mixing a polymer of vinyl monomers, functional monomers, special soft monomers, and photoinitiators with a tackifying resin and an antioxidant in certain proportions; the composition of the photoinitiator polymer contains a copolymer of one or more polymerizable photosensitive initiators and acrylate monomers, or a mixture of oligomers of one or more polymerizable photosensitive initiators and acrylate high polymers. The PVC adhesive tape made using such a pressure-sensitive adhesive has the advantages of excellent mechanical properties, bonding performance, and resistance to high temperatures, and is energy-saving and environmentally friendly; the present invention overcomes the defect of the prior art that a relatively long thermal oven is needed to volatilize a solvent in the glue when coating a PVC adhesive tape, which is applicable for wrapping and strapping cable bundles in different positions of the body of an automobile, can satisfy the requirement for uses on high temperature-resistant positions of an engine inside the automobile, and reaches a long-term temperature resistance level of 125° C.
ADHESIVE SHEET
An adhesive sheet in which the adhesive strength of an adhesive layer to other adherends is low, adhesive layers can be firmly bonded to each other, the adhesive layers will not be destroyed even if the adhesive layers are peeled after having once been bonded, and sufficient bonding strength is obtained even if the adhesive layers are re-bonded. An adhesive sheet in which an intermediate layer containing methyl methacrylate-grafted natural rubber is provided on a substrate containing a vinyl chloride resin and a plasticizer, and an adhesive layer including an adhesive containing the plasticizer and a rubber component containing natural rubber and methyl methacrylate-grafted natural rubber is provided on the intermediate layer, wherein a degree of swelling of the rubber component with respect to the plasticizer is by a factor of 1.5 to 4.5.
