PROTECTIVE SHEET
Provided is a Low-E glass plate protective sheet having excellent long-term reliability. A Low-E glass plate protective sheet is provided. The protective sheet has a PSA layer. The PSA layer has a chloride ion amount of 105 μg or less per gram of PSA, determined by hot water extraction.
Method and system to provide a repositionable translucent cast vinyl film with an air-egress adhesive layer
Disclosed are a method, a device and/or a system of cast vinyl film and, more particularly, to a method and system to provide a repositionable translucent cast vinyl film with an air-egress adhesive layer. In one aspect, a method includes mixing a solvent based polyvinyl chloride (PVC) organosol with a stabilizer and an additive to get a desired shade of pellucid tint of a translucent thermoplastic stretch wrap film. Further, the method includes casting the polyvinyl chloride (PVC) organosol onto a film carrier and moving the film carrier through a plurality of ovens at varying temperatures to cure into a solid film. The cured solid film is laminated to an air-egress liner casted with a solvent-borne acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive to provide ease of installation. The adhesive includes an air release patterning to allow escape of air from back of the film while repositioning the film around a complex shaped surface.
MULTILAYER FILMS AND ADHESIVE TAPES
Multilayer films and adhesive tapes that include such films, wherein the multilayer films include plasticized polyvinyl chloride and optionally one or more fillers.
Method for mitigating passive intermodulation using roofing material with polymeric and metal layers
Materials and methods for mitigating passive intermodulation. A membrane for reducing passive intermodulation includes a first polymeric layer, a second polymeric layer, and a continuous metal layer encapsulated between the first and second polymeric layers. A self-adhesive radio frequency barrier tape includes a waterproof polymeric top layer, a metal-containing layer adhered by an adhesive layer to the polymeric top layer, a pressure sensitive adhesive layer adhered to the metal-containing layer, and a release liner on a bottom surface of the pressure sensitive adhesive layer. A method of mitigating passive intermodulation includes passing a probe over an area of interest, the probe being sensitive to an intermodulation frequency of interest, and identifying a suspected source of passive intermodulation when the amplitude of the probe output exceeds a threshold at the frequency of interest. The method further includes covering the suspected passive intermodulation source with a radio frequency barrier material.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR A TEMPERATURE RELEASED ADHESIVE STRUCTURE FOR USE WITH BANDAGES
An adhesive article that remains securely bonded to a substrate until a stimuli is applied. The article may be embodied as an adhesive tape, a bandage, or as other articles. The stimuli may be a change in temperature or application of a reduction that causes a structure within the article to break, creak, or otherwise disrupt to expose the adhesive to a solvent, such as via a difference in Coefficient of Thermal Expansion (CTE) or by exposing the article to a glass transition temperature.
ADHESIVE ARTICLES PERMITTING DAMAGE FREE REMOVAL
The present disclosure provides adhesive articles that can be removed from surfaces without damage by having reduced or eliminated contribution of a core backing to peel force generated by the adhesive during removal. In some instances, this can be accomplished by a core that loses structural integrity in a direction normal to a plane defined by a major surface. In other instances, the contribution is reduced by compromising the interface between the core and a peelable adhesive layer.
LOW COMBUSTIBILITY ADHESIVE COMPOSITION WITH LAYERED CONSTRUCTION
The present disclosure relates to a low-combustibility film construction. The film construction includes a film layer, a first adhesive layer with a fire-retardant additive of at least 41% by weight and a second adhesive layer. The total thickness of the adhesive layers is in the range of 18.5 to 44.5 microns. The total thickness of the fire retardant adhesive layer is 32% to 85% of the total adhesive thickness.
ADHESIVE AGENT AND ADHESIVE TAPE USING SAID ADHESIVE AGENT
An object of the present invention is to provide an emulsion-based adhesive having excellent adhesive force, excellent heat resistance of adhesive force, excellent holding power, less adhesive residue and good “tack”.
According to the present invention, an emulsion-based adhesive comprising: a styrene-butadiene rubber; a natural rubber; and a tackifier, wherein a gel fraction of the styrene-butadiene rubber is 20 to 60% by mass, a content of the natural rubber with respect to 100 parts by mass of the styrene-butadiene rubber is 10 to 35 parts by mass, a content of the tackifier with respect to 100 parts by mass of the styrene-butadiene rubber is 100 to 150 parts by mass, and a ratio of a styrene monomer unit in a total amount of the styrene-butadiene rubber and the natural rubber contained in the adhesive is 5 to 15% by mass, is provided.
ADHESIVE TAPE
An adhesive tape includes a substrate [I] and an adhesive agent layer of a polyester adhesive agent provided on at least one of opposite surfaces of the substrate [I]. The substrate [I] is one selected from a polyolefin resin foam substrate, a urethane resin foam substrate, and an acrylic resin foam substrate. The polyester adhesive agent is made from a polyester adhesive agent composition [II] which contains a polyester resin (A) having a weight average molecular weight of 5,000 to 300,000, and having a structural unit derived from a polyol and a structural unit derived from a polyvalent carboxylic acid compound containing an aromatic structure-containing compound in a proportion of not greater than 80 mol %. The adhesive tape is excellent in adherence between a polyester adhesive agent layer and a polyolefin resin foam substrate, a urethane resin foam substrate, or an acrylic resin foam substrate.
ADHESIVE COMPOSITIONS
An object of the present invention is that the migration of a plasticizer is suppressed while high bond strength is ensured. An adhesive composition of the present invention includes an acrylic polymer (A), a tackifier resin (B) and a crosslinking agent (C). The acrylic polymer (A) includes units derived from a (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester (a1), a nitrogen-containing (meth)acrylic monomer (a2) and a carboxyl-containing (meth)acrylic monomer (a3).
