Pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet
Provided is a PSA sheet highly durable against repeated deformation and suited for use in a flexible device as well. The PSA sheet provided by this invention comprises a PSA layer. The PSA sheet shows a recovery rate at 100% elongation of 70% or higher. The PSA layer shows a displacement of 0.5 mm or greater according to the following holding power test: <Holding Power Test> At 23° C., the PSA layer is applied over a 10 mm wide by 20 mm long bonding area to a Bakelite plate as an adherend; a 1 kg load is applied in the length direction; after one hour, the displacement from the initial position where first applied is determined.
Component-manufacturing film, component-manufacturing tool, and component-manufacturing method
Provided is a component-manufacturing film that includes a first region S1 and a second region S2 disposed so as to surround the region S1; the region S1 is formed of a base layer and an adhesive layer provided on one surface side of the base layer; the region S2 is formed of the base layer, the adhesive layer, and an additional layer affixed onto the layer. In the temperature range of 190° C. or lower, a tensile elastic modulus of the additional layer is equal to or greater than the tensile elastic modulus of the base layer. Further provided are a component-manufacturing tool and method, the latter including a component fixing step; a film placement step of performing placement so that the boundary between the region S1 and the region S2 is located inside with respect to an edge of the chuck table; a chucking step; and a heating step.
FLEXIBLE DISPLAY DEVICE
A flexible display device of the present invention comprises a photoelectric element part; a first adhesive film formed on the photoelectric element part; a touch function part formed on the first adhesive film; a second adhesive film formed on the touch function part; and a window film formed on the second adhesive film; wherein the first adhesive film or the second adhesive film has an average slope of about −9.9 to about 0 at −20° C. to 80° C. based on x-axis for the distribution of storage modulus versus temperature in the function of x-axis of temperature (° C.) and y-axis of storage modulus (KPa) and wherein the first adhesive film or the second adhesive film has a storage modulus of about 10 KPa or more at 80° C.
TAPE FOR LABEL WRITER
To prevent an ink from discoloring and an ink from remaining when a tape for label writer using a transparent synthetic resin film which is colorized by an ink layer is peeled off from an adherend.
A tape for label writer being composed of: (i) the tape for label writer having a layer structure including at least a process layer, substrate layer, ink layer, barrier layer, and adhesive layer in this order; (ii) the substrate layer being a synthetic resin film; and (iii) the ink layer including one adhesive resin selected from the group including polyurethane resin, acrylic resin and polyester resin, and a pigment.
REINFORCEMENT MEMBER COMPRISING A STRUCTURAL ADHESIVE ON A POLYESTER CARRIER
The invention relates to a reinforcement member comprising a heatcurable structural adhesive on a carrier member, wherein the carrier member comprises a fiber-reinforced polyester material. The invention further relates to a method to produce such a reinforcement member and its use.
Modified resins and uses thereof
Modified thermoplastic hydrocarbon thermoplastic resins are provided, as well as methods of their manufacture and uses thereof in rubber compositions. The modified thermoplastic resins are modified by decreasing the relative quantity of the dimer, trimer, tetramer, and pentamer oligomers as compared to the corresponding unmodified thermoplastic resin polymers, resulting in a product that exhibits a greater shift in the glass transition temperature of the elastomer(s) used in tire formulations. This translates to better viscoelastic predictors of tire tread performance, such as wet grip and rolling resistance. The modified thermoplastic resins impart remarkable properties on various rubber compositions, such as tires, belts, hoses, brakes, and the like. Automobile tires incorporating the modified thermoplastic resins are shown to possess excellent results in balancing the properties of rolling resistance, tire wear, snow performance, and wet braking performance.
POLYESTER FILM AND APPLICATION THEREFOR
Provided is a polyester film for a touchscreen module substrate of a foldable display which is free of occurrence of a crack at a folding portion thereof, in order to provide a foldable display excellent in mass productivity, and free of a risk of causing distortion in an image displayed at a folding portion thereof after being repeatedly folded. The polyester film for a touchscreen module substrate of a foldable display satisfies the following conditions: (1) a refractive index in a bending direction is from 1.590 to 1.620; (2) a refractive index in a folding portion direction is from 1.670 to 1.700; (3) a refractive index in a thickness direction is 1.520 or less; and (4) a density is 1.380 g/cm or more, wherein the bending direction refers to a direction orthogonal to a folding portion of the polyester film at a time when the polyester film is folded.
ADHESIVE COMPOSITION, ADHESIVE FILM, AND FOLDABLE DISPLAY DEVICE COMPRISING SAME
