Acrylic Emulsion Pressure Sensitive Adhesive Composition
An acrylic emulsion pressure sensitive adhesive composition is provided. The acrylic emulsion pressure sensitive adhesive composition, due to pH-dependent properties, exhibits stable adhesion when attached to an adherend, but when it needs to be removed, it can be easily removed without residue using an alkaline solution. Thus, if the acrylic emulsion pressure sensitive adhesive composition is used as a pressure sensitive adhesive for a label of a plastic packaging article, the label can be easily removed during a recycling process, thus improving recycling efficiency.
ADHESIVE MATERIAL WITH TRIGGERABLE ON-DEMAND DETACHMENT
An adhesive material that provides fast and robust adhesion on wet surfaces, where the adhesion formed is detachable on-demand. The adhesive material is formed of one or more hydrophilic polymers or copolymers grafted with one or more amine coupling groups via a plurality of cleavable physical bonds and/or cleavable covalent bonds and one or more cross linkers. Application of the adhesive material on a wet surface causes the adhesive material to absorb liquid to thereby swell the adhesive material to form a layer of hydrogel, resulting in the formation of temporary crosslinks followed by covalent crosslinks with the surface. Introducing a triggering agent cleaves the cleavable physical bonds and/or cleavable covalent bonds to allow for non-traumatic detachment of the adhesive material from the surface.
REPEELABLE ADHESIVE INCLUDING PHOTOCURABLE ADHESIVE AND HEAT FOAMING AGENT AND REPEELABLE ADHESIVE TAPE INCLUDING THE SAME
A repeelable adhesive including a photocurable adhesive and a heat foaming agent and a repeelable adhesive tape including the repeelable adhesive are disclosed. The repeelable adhesive maintains excellent adhesion, but easily peels off from an adherend after ultraviolet (UV) irradiation and heating.
Resin composition and display device including adhesive layer formed from the same
A resin composition includes a first (meth)acrylate monomer a second (meth)acrylate monomer containing an oxy group or a divalent alkyl group, a urethane (meth)acrylate oligomer, and at least one photoinitiator. A content of the first (meth)acrylate monomer is about 1.6 to about 4.7 times greater than a content of the urethane (meth)acrylate oligomer.
Acrylic Adhesive Composition, Polarizing Plate, and Display Device
An acrylic adhesive composition including an acrylic copolymer formed by polymerizing a monomer mixture is provided. The monomer mixture includes a monomer represented by [Formula 1], a (meth)acrylic monomer having a crosslinkable functional group, and an alkyl (meth)acrylate-based monomer. The acrylic copolymer has a branched polymer structure. The acrylic composition also includes a polyfunctional acrylate having two or more radically polymerizable functional groups, a first photoinitiator, and a second photoinitiator, wherein the first photoinitiator is an acetophenone-based photoinitiator, and the second photoinitiator is a phosphine oxide-based photoinitiator.
Aqueous Acrylic Pressure-Sensitive Adhesive Composition, Method of Preparing the Same and Pressure-Sensitive Adhesive Sheet Including the Same

Low-temperature curable compositions
This invention pertains to a curable composition comprising a first component having β-ketoester and/or malonate functionalities and a second component having two or more aldehyde functionalities. The compositions can be cured at room temperature or low temperatures to yield crosslinked networks that are capable of providing desirable properties for coating and adhesive applications. The reactive functionalities of β-ketoester, malonate, and aldehyde can be either on polymers as the main binders or on small molecules as the crosslinkers. The curable compositions desirably are either solventless or organic solvent based.
PSA COMPOSITION HAVING HIGH SHEAR AND PEEL PROPERTIES
Provided herein is a pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) that has balanced high shear and high peel strength. The PSA comprises a combination of epoxy and isocyanate crosslinkers and a polyacrylate tackifier.
ADHESIVE AND ADHESIVE TAPE
Provided are a pressure-sensitive adhesive that is suppressed from being reduced in pressure-sensitive adhesive strength at the time of its contact with an oil content or an alcohol component, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape including the pressure-sensitive adhesive. The pressure-sensitive adhesive of the present invention is a pressure-sensitive adhesive configured to express an adhesive property by being pressure-bonded, including: an acrylic polymer having an acid functional group; and a crystalline resin having a melting point of 25° C. or more. In one embodiment, the pressure-sensitive adhesive is configured to express the adhesive property by being warmed. In one embodiment, the acrylic polymer having an acid functional group has a constituent unit “a” derived from a (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester having a linear or branched alkyl group having 4 or more carbon atoms.
