METHODS AND DEVICES FOR DELIVERING IMPLANTABLE PROSTHESES
A system for reshaping a valve annulus includes an elongate template having a length along a longitudinal axis and at least one concavity in a generally lateral direction along said length. The pre-shaped template is positioned against at least a region of an inner peripheral wall of the valve annulus, and at least one anchor on the template is advanced into a lateral wall of the valve annulus to reposition at least one segment of the region of the inner peripheral wall of the valve annulus into said concavity. In this way, a peripheral length of the valve annulus can be foreshortened and/or reshaped to improve coaptation of the valve leaflets and/or to eliminate or decrease regurgitation of a valve.

One example method for scene-adaptive image quality in surgical video includes receiving a first video frame from an endoscope, the first video frame generated from a first raw image captured by an image sensor of the endoscope and processed by an image signal processing (“ISP”) pipeline having a plurality of ISP parameters; recognizing, using a trained machine learning (“ML”) model, a first scene type or a first scene feature type based on the first video frame; determining a first set of ISP parameters based on the first scene type or the first scene feature type; applying the first set of ISP parameters to the ISP pipeline; and receiving a second video frame from the endoscope, the second video frame generated from a second raw image captured by the image sensor and processed by the ISP pipeline using the first set of ISP parameters.

An exemplary drive apparatus may include a roller assembly and a roller support. The roller assembly may have a first continuous surface, a second continuous surface, an open configuration for receiving an elongate member, and a closed configuration for securing the elongate member in the roller assembly. The roller assembly imparts axial motion to the elongate member along the first continuous surface, which maintains contact with the elongate member during the axial motion. The roller support rotates the roller assembly about the second continuous surface, which maintains contact with the roller support during rotational motion. The roller assembly and roller support to impart axial and rotational motion, respectively, independently of one another.

A mobile surgical tracking system comprises a mobile surgical tracking device comprising an integrated fiducial marker and an imaging device. The imaging device is configured to generate an image of a patient's anatomical structure. The mobile surgical tracking system comprises a tracking system coordinate frame. The integrated fiducial marker has a position which has a known relation to the tracking system coordinate frame for the direct registration of the image to the coordinate system of the mobile surgical tracking device.

A method of operating a surgical control system comprises displaying an image of a surgical environment, from a field of view of an imaging instrument, on a display system. The display system is configured for mounting to a head of a user. The method also includes detecting an imaging control input from the user and responsive to the detection of the imaging control input, enabling an imaging control mode of the surgical control system. The method also includes detecting a movement of the head of the user. While the surgical control system is in the imaging control mode and responsive to the user's head movement, an image of the surgical environment from a changed field of view of the imaging instrument is displayed. The changed field of view corresponds to the detected movement of the user's head.
Guiding a robotic surgical system to perform a surgical procedure
A robotic surgical system may be used to perform a surgical procedure. Providing guidance for the robotic surgical system includes integrating a Point of View (PoV) surgical drill with a camera to capture a PoV image of a surgical area of a subject patient; displaying an image of the surgical area, based on a viewing angle of the PoV surgical drill, thus enabling the surgeon to operate on the surgical area using the PoV surgical drill. The PoV surgical drill operates based on the surgeon's control of a guidance drill. The content of the images may change based on a change in the viewing angle of the PoV surgical drill.

A medical procedure system, including a medical instrument to be inserted into a body part, and including position-tracking transducers to provide position signals, a distal end, and at least one radiopaque marker, a position tracking sub-system to compute a position including at least one location and orientation of the distal end in a position-tracking sub-system coordinate frame responsively to the position signals, a fluoroscope to capture fluoroscopic images of an interior of the body part and the radiopaque marker(s), and a registration sub-system to render, to a display, the captured fluoroscopic images including at least one marker-image of the radiopaque marker(s), and at least one graphical representation indicative of the computed position of the distal end, receive user-alignment input aligning the graphical representation(s) with the marker-image(s), and register the position-tracking sub-system coordinate frame with a coordinate frame of the fluoroscope responsively to the received user-alignment input.
