Aspects of the present disclosure relate to systems for performing a surgical procedure using a power tool or power instrument with systems, devices and/or control units for adjusting, regulating, interrupting, and/or restoring electric current to the power tool or instrument during operation, for example, when the power tool or instrument is at a predetermined distance to a boundary of a safe zone or a target volume of operation.

ROBOTIC ALIGNMENT OF A TOOL OR PIN WITH A VIRTUAL PLANE

Systems and methods for creating cuts on a bone are provided utilizing one or more cutting guides assembled to a plurality of bone pins, where the bone pins are inserted on the bone coincident with one or more virtual pin planes defined relative to one or more of the cuts. Alignment guides are also disclosed herein that aid in the creation of pilot holes for receiving a cutting block in a desired position and orientation (POSE). An articulating surgical device actively positions the bone pins coincident with the virtual plane to ensure the cutting guides, when assembled to the pins, aligns one or more guide slots in the desired POSE to create the cuts.

Methods for optical tracking and surface acquisition in surgical environments and devices thereof

A computer assisted system is disclosed that includes an optical tracking system and one or more computing devices. The optical tracking system includes an RGB sensor and is configured to capture color images of an environment in the visible light spectrum and tracking images of fiducials in the environment in a near-infrared spectrum. The computer assisted system is configured to generate a color image of the environment using the color images, identify fiducial locations using the tracking images, generate depth maps from the color images, reconstruct three-dimensional surfaces of structures based on the depth maps, and output a display comprising the reconstructed three-dimensional surface and one or more surgical objects that are associated with the tracked fiducials. The computer assisted system can further include a monitor or a head-mounted display (HMD) configured to present augmented reality (AR) images during a procedure.

ADHESIVE SUPPLEMENTARY MARKER AND ADHESIVE EXAMINATION MARKER SET

An adhesive supplementary marker that is configured to be used together with an adhesive examination marker to be attached to an examination target of image diagnosis using microwaves, and that is configured to be disposed between the adhesive examination marker and the examination target and pressed toward the examination target by the adhesive examination marker in a state in which the adhesive examination marker is attached to the examination target. The adhesive supplementary marker includes a laminate including a base film having a thickness of 20 μm or less, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer configured to be attached to the examination target. The base film has a Young's modulus of 1.0 GPa or more.
