Disclosed herein is a stabilizer mixture for modifying an olefin-based polymer, which comprises at least one organic phosphorus-containing antioxidant represented by a formula selected from the group consisting of formulae (1), (2), (3), (4), (5), (6), (7), and (8), as well as at least one sulfur-containing carboxylate salt represented by a formula selected from the group consisting of formulae (9), (10), (11), and (12). Also disclosed herein is a modified polymer composition prepared from an olefin-based polymer using the stabilizer mixture. The olefin-based polymer is selected from the group consisting of polyolefin, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, and a combination thereof.

An inhibitor composition contains alkyl thiophosphoric triamide (or a mixture of alkyl thiophosphoric triamide and dicyandiamide),dissolved in a liquid medium comprising at least one organic solvent, at least one amine stabilizer and, optionally, at least one dye and/or at least one odor masking agent, is useful in making fertilizer compositions and in a method of fertilizing target plants.

A nitrogen stabilizing composition is provided. The composition includes 22 to 26% w/w N-(n-butyl) thiophosphoric triamide (NBPT), 4 to 8% w/w of 3,4-dimethyl pyrazole phosphate (DMPP) and/or nitrapyrin, a solvent including N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP) and propylene glycol, 0.1 to 5% w/w vegetable oil, and 0.1 to 5% w/w lecithin.
