This invention involves with a gasification system, which includes a gasifier, which gasifier comprises a gasification chamber for producing syngas from coal slurry and a quench chamber for cooling the syngas from the gasification chamber. The mentioned gasification system also comprises preheater located in the quench chamber for utilizing heat in the quench chamber to preheat the coal slurry before the coal slurry enters the gasification chamber. Wherein, the preheater comprises a pipe device defining a passage for the coal slurry to pass through, the passage in communication with the gasification chamber and upstream of the gasification chamber in a flow direction of the coal slurry. This invention also involves with a preheater used in the mentioned gasification system and the gasification method of the mentioned gasification device.

A system for gasification of a carbonaceous material and recycling char or solids from a gasifier is disclosed. The recycling system may include a standpipe that receives a solids stream from a separator, the standpipe generating a pressure differential across a bed of accumulated char, thereby producing a bottoms stream having a greater pressure than the inlet solids stream. The recycling system may also include a holding vessel that receives the bottoms stream and a fluidized-bed distribution vessel that receives char from the holding vessel and is configured to provide a continuous and precise flow of recycled char to the gasification reactor.

A carbonaceous feedstock gasification power generation facility, and a method for regulating a gas for drying gas this carbonaceous feedstock, are disclosed with which it is possible to expand the range of the types of carbonaceous feedstocks that can be used. High-temperature exhaust gas, low-temperature exhaust gas and extreme high-temperature exhaust gas are bled from the furnace respectively at a high-temperature bleed position, a low-temperature bleed position and an extreme high-temperature bleed position. When these exhaust gases are mixed, the flow volume of the extreme high-temperature exhaust gas supplied to at least one of the exhaust gases, that is, the high-temperature exhaust gas or the low-temperature exhaust gas, is adjusted such that the temperature of at least one of these exhaust gases, that is, the high-temperature exhaust gas or the low-temperature exhaust gas, reaches a prescribed temperature.

A two-stage gasification reactor may include a reactor lower section and a reactor upper section. The reactor lower section may include (a) a lower reactor body, (b) two primary feed nozzles, configured to introduce at least one of a dry feedstock or a first slurried feedstock and located on opposing terminal ends of the lower reactor body, and (c) at least two secondary feed nozzles, configured to introduce a liquid hydrocarbon feedstock, located on the lower reactor body. The reactor upper section may include (a) an upper reactor body, (b) at least one upper feed nozzle, configured to introduce at least one of a dry feedstock or a first slurried feedstock, located on the upper reactor body, and (c) an outlet.

An object of the present invention is to provide a pulverized coal drying system for a pulverizer, a pulverized coal drying method therefor, a pulverized coal drying program, a pulverizer, and an integrated gasification combined cycle capable of stably drying a carbonaceous feedstock irrespective of the type of the carbonaceous feedstock to be used. There is provided a controller (50) of a pulverizer (10) that dries a supplied carbonaceous feedstock by using a drying fluid and includes a flow rate controller that controls the flow rate of the drying fluid within upper and lower limits of the flow rate of the drying fluid that are set to dry a plurality of types of the carbonaceous feedstock having different moisture contents in such a way that the temperature of the drying fluid discharged from the pulverizer (10) approaches a target temperature.

PULVERIZED-FUEL SUPPLY UNIT AND METHOD, AND INTEGRATED GASIFICATION COMBINED CYCLE

A pulverized-fuel supply unit includes a hopper, first nozzles, second nozzles, a pressurizing-gas supply device, a fluidization-gas supply device, and a pulverized-fuel supply line. The hopper has a hollow to store therein pulverized fuel. The first nozzles are provided to the hopper. The second nozzles are provided to a vertically lower part of the hopper below the plurality of first nozzles. The pressurizing-gas supply device is configured to supply pressurizing gas to increase internal pressure of the hopper. The fluidization-gas supply device is configured to supply fluidization gas to fluidize the pulverized fuel in the hopper. The pulverized-fuel supply line is provided to a vertically lower part of the hopper. The pressurizing-gas supply device supplies pressurizing gas to the first nozzles and the second nozzles. The fluidization-gas supply device supplies fluidization gas to the second nozzles.

Provided is a pressurizing system which includes: a pressurizing nozzle configured to supply a pressurizing gas into a hopper (3) where pulverized coal is accumulated; a filter configured to face a space in the hopper (3) where the pulverized coal is accumulated, and to allow the pressurizing gas to pass through the filter, the filter being provided at an end of the pressurizing nozzle; buffer tanks (5a), (5b) in which a pressurizing gas to be supplied to the hopper (3) is collected at a first predetermined pressure; and a pressure control means configured to start, at a time of starting pressurization of the hopper (3), supply of a pressurizing gas at a second predetermined pressure which is lower than the first predetermined pressure of the pressurizing gas collected in the buffer tanks (5a), (5b).
