Anatomical Wedge Implant
An osteotomy implant includes a first surface extending generally in a first plane and a second surface extending generally in a second plane, oblique to the first plane. The first surface has a perimeter having a first linear edge, a first curve edge connected to the first linear edge, a second linear edge connected to the first curved edge, and a second curved edge connected to the second liner edge.
CONFIGURATION MARKER DESIGN AND DETECTION FOR INSTRUMENT TRACKING
A system may comprise a tool including at least one reference feature. a processor, and a memory having computer readable instructions stored thereon. The computer readable instructions, when executed by the processor, may cause the system to receive image data including an image of the tool and the at least one reference feature, determine a pose of the tool from the image data, and modify the image data to visually decrement a portion of the image data corresponding to the at least one reference feature.

SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIA FOR DETECTING IMAGE DEGRADATION DURING SURGICAL PROCEDURES
Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for detecting image degradation during a surgical procedure are provided. A method includes receiving images of a surgical instrument; obtaining baseline images of an edge of the surgical instrument; comparing a characteristic of the images of the surgical instrument to a characteristic of the baseline images of the edge of the surgical instrument, the images of the surgical instrument being received subsequent to obtaining the baseline images of the edge of the surgical instrument and being received while the surgical instrument is disposed at a surgical site in a patient; determining whether the images of the surgical instrument are degraded, based on the comparing of the characteristic of the images of the surgical instrument and the characteristic of the baseline images of the surgical instrument; and generating an image degradation notification, in response to a determination that the images of the surgical instrument are degraded.
Individual packaging arrangement for orthopedic tools
A protective member for a medical instrument includes a body portion having an inner side wall defining an interior, configured to receive at least a portion of the medical instrument. The body portion also includes a first end and a second end, wherein at least one of the first end and the second end is configured to at least partially close the respective first end and/or second end of the body portion. The at least partially closed first end and/or second end is configured to be opened for use of the medical instrument, such that the medical instrument can pass through both the first and second ends of the body portion during use, while the inner side wall surrounds a portion of the medical instrument. The body portion is configured for use during a medical procedure using the medical instrument, for example, as a tissue protector or a drilling guide.

Identification system for medical devices
A system and method of use thereof are disclosed, the system including a treatment source, such as an electrosurgical generator and a plurality of treatment devices operable to be coupled to the treatment source, one or more of the treatment devices being associated with one or more device identifiers which can be, for example, physically present on the device or contained in device software.

Elastography for ligament characterization
Methods and system for characterizing ligament properties using elastography are disclosed. An ultrasound system capable of performing shear wave elasticity imaging and/or supersonic shear imaging may retrieve one or more images from a proposed surgical site. The one or more images may be provided to a surgical planning system that identifies one or more properties of ligaments proximate to the surgical site. Musculoskeletal simulations may be performed using the identified properties to preoperatively identify a surgical plan. Preoperative identification of a surgical plan may enable a surgeon to select from more fine-tuning options for a joint replacement than conventional systems.
CARRIERS FOR SURGICAL OBJECTS, AND SETS AND CONTAINERS CONTAINING SUCH CARRIERS
The invention relates to supports (1) for receiving a surgical implant, in particular a bone plate (2), containing an implant receptacle (3), the implant receptacle (3) being of substantially elongate form along a longitudinal axis (4) and having a first part (5) and a second part (6), the first part (5) having a shaft (7) for receiving the surgical implant (2) at a recess (13) of the implant (2), the second part (6) having a first fastening portion (8) for fastening to a holding portion (9) of a container (114). The support (1) furthermore contains at least one elastic element (10), in particular a spring, for securing the implant, which is designed to secure an implant, which is held on the implant receptacle (3), by a force component substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (4). Also disclosed are supports (100) for receiving at least one surgical item, in particular an implant, in particular a screw (101).
