WORKING OIL FOR HYDRAULIC SHOCK ABSORBER, AND HYDRAULIC SHOCK ABSORBER
20180305634 · 2018-10-25 · ·

[Problem]

Provided is an operating oil for shock absorber in which influences against rubber materials are controlled.

[Solution]

An operating oil coming into contact with a rubber material, the operating oil containing a polyalkylene glycol and at least one base oil selected from a fatty acid diester, a poly-alfa-olefin, and a lubricating oil classified as GIII in American Petroleum Institute (API).

[Effect]

According to the operating oil, in view of the fact that swelling properties of a rubber material, such as a seal material, etc., are reduced, conventionally used rubber materials can be used without being changed.

FLUORINATED ALKENE REFRIGERANT COMPOSITIONS
20180094179 · 2018-04-05 ·

Liquid compositions for use in compression refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat pump systems in which a fluoroalkene containing from 3 to 4 carbon atoms and at least 1 but no more than 2 double bonds is combined with an effective amount to provide lubrication of an essentially miscible organic lubricant comprised of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen and having a ratio of oxygen to carbon effective to provide a degree of miscibility with said fluoroalkene so that when up to five weight percent of lubricant is added to said fluoroalkene the refrigerant has one liquid phase at at least one temperature between 40 and +70 C. Methods for producing refrigeration and heating with the fluoroalkenes, alone or in combination with the disclosed lubricants, are also disclosed.

Lubricating oil composition and automotive transmission oil using same

An object of the present invention is to provide a lubricating oil composition having a low viscosity and an extremely high viscosity index as well as an excellent shearing stability. The present invention relates to a lubricating oil composition including the following components (A) to (C): (A) a low-viscosity synthetic oil including a compound containing an ether bond in a molecule thereof and having a kinematic viscosity of less than 10 mm.sup.2/s as measured at 40 C., in which a ratio of the number of oxygen atoms to the number of carbon atoms as constituents of the compound (O/C ratio) and the kinematic viscosity (mm.sup.2/s) of the compound as measured at 40 C. satisfy the following formula (1):
Kinematic Viscosity at 40 C.12[(O/C ratio)30](1); (B) a high-viscosity synthetic oil as a hydrocarbon-based synthetic oil having a kinematic viscosity of 40 mm.sup.2/s or more as measured at 100 C. which includes at least one compound selected from the group consisting of an -olefin oligomer or a hydrogenated product of the -olefin oligomer, and an ethylene-propylene co-oligomer; and (C) a polymethacrylate having a weight-average molecular weight of 50,000 or less.
