LUBRICANT OIL COMPOSITION FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINES AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME, AND METHOD FOR PREVENTING PRE-IGNITION
A lubricating oil composition for internal combustion engines containing a base oil (A), a metal-based detergent (B) containing a calcium-based detergent (B1), a zinc dialkyldithiophosphate (C), and a molybdenum-containing compound (D), wherein a calcium atom-equivalent content of the calcium-based detergent (B1) is more than 100 ppm by mass and 600 ppm by mass or less, based on a total amount of the composition, a magnesium atom-equivalent content of a magnesium-based detergent (B2) is less than 200 ppm by mass, based on the total amount of the composition, a sodium atom-equivalent content of a sodium-based detergent (B3) is less than 200 ppm by mass, based on the total amount of the composition, a content ratio of phosphorus derived from the zinc dialkyldithiophosphate (C) to calcium derived from the calcium-based detergent (B1) [P/Ca] is 0.25 or more by mass, and a sulfated ash content is 0.7% by mass or less; and a method for producing the composition.
WIRE ROPE
The durability of a wire rope is improved. The wire rope includes a rope body having at least one strand each formed with a plurality of element wires twisted with each other; a lubricant interposed between the plurality of element wires of the at least one strand; and a resin layer coating the outer periphery of the rope body along with the lubricant, the lubricant containing a sulfur-containing organic molybdenum compound.
GREASE COMPOSITION
A grease composition may be used for speed reducers and speed increasers, being excellent in both torque transmission efficiency and leak prevention performance. The grease composition may contain a base oil (A) and a urea-based thickener (B), which is used for speed reducers and speed increasers, wherein the particles containing the urea-based thickener (B) in the grease composition satisfy the following requirement (I). Requirement (I): the area-based arithmetic average particle diameter of the particles is 2.0 μm or less, as measured by a laser diffraction/scattering method.

The present patent application relates to a method for reducing wear and tear on mechanical parts that are in contact with each other in an internal combustion engine by using a lubricating composition comprising: at least one base oil; at least one oxothiomolybdate salt; and at least one anti-wear compound;
wherein at least one of the said parts includes a surface that comprises an amorphous carbon type coating.
LUBRICATING COMPOSITION FOR REDUCING WEAR AND TEAR ON DLC PARTS USED IN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINES
The present patent application relates to a method for reducing wear and tear on mechanical parts that are in contact with each other in an internal combustion engine by using a lubricating composition comprising: at least one base oil; at least one oxothiomolybdate salt; and at least one anti-wear compound;
wherein at least one of the said parts includes a surface that comprises an amorphous carbon type coating.
LUBRICATING OIL COMPOSITION
A lubricating oil composition containing a base oil, an organic molybdenum compound, and a metallic detergent, wherein the metallic detergent contains calcium sulfonate, and the content of the calcium sulfonate in terms of calcium atoms is 0.12% by mass or more based on the mass of the composition, the content ratio of molybdenum atoms derived from the organic molybdenum compound to soap groups derived from the metallic detergent based on the lubricating oil composition, [Mo/soap groups], is 0.02 or more at a mass ratio, and the HTHS viscosity at 150° C. is 1.3 mPa.Math.s or more and less than 2.3 mPa.Math.s. The lubricating oil composition has low viscosity and excellent lubricity.
Grease composition
A grease composition is disclosed which is intended primarily for use in constant velocity joints (CV joints), especially ball joints and/or tripod joints, which are used in the driveline of motor vehicles. The grease composition for use in constant velocity joints comprises at least one base oil, at least one thickener, zinc sulfide, at least one copper sulfide and molybdenum disulfide and/or tungsten disulfide. Further, the present disclosure relates to a constant velocity joint comprising such a grease composition.

The present invention relates to a lubricating oil composition containing a base oil (A) containing an olefin-based polymer (A1) having an area ratio of a peak derived from a hydride (A11) of a decene trimer of 80% or more relative to 100% of a total area of peaks derived from the olefin-based polymer (A1) detected in a chromatogram and having predetermined kinematic viscosity, flash point, and pour point, a viscosity index improver (B) containing a comb-shaped polymer (B1), and an organic molybdenum-based compound (C), in which the content of the comb-shaped polymer (B1) is regulated within a specified range and having a HTHS viscosity at each of 150° C. and 50° C. of the lubricating oil composition and a NOACK value in predetermined ranges, respectively.
