LOW-FOAMING WAREWASH DETERGENT CONTAINING MIXED CATIONIC / NONIONIC SURFACTANT SYSTEM FOR ENHANCED OILY SOIL REMOVAL
The invention includes ware detergent compositions which provides superior cleaning and removal of oily and fatty soils, without the production of excessive foam. According to the invention applicants have discovered that use of a quaternary cationic surfactant in combination with a nonionic low foaming surfactant can provide oily soil removal from ware that is superior to traditional warewash detergent formulations. Compositions for alkaline, preferably solid, warewash detergents are disclosed, as well as their use in dish machines and methods of manufacture.
ALKALINE WAREWASH DETERGENT FOR ALUMINUM SURFACES
Detergent compositions designed to prevent aluminum discoloration while providing high cleaning performance on soils and stains are disclosed. Detergent compositions substantially free of nitrilotriacetic acid (NTA) are disclosed. Methods of using the detergent compositions are also disclosed.
Multi-purpose cleaner
Provided is a multi-function liquid cleaning composition. The cleaning composition may be diluted to produce a composition for a variety of different purposes. The cleaning solution is particularly effective as a degreaser for heavy grease removal. Heavy grease includes the type that may accumulate on motor vehicles. The cleaning formulation is environmentally benign and non-toxic.
FOAM CONTROL COMPOSITION
A process for washing a substrate. The process involves providing a detergent composition that includes a surfactant and an antifoam. The antifoam comprises a hydrophobic fluid having a surface tension of at least 27 mN/m and less than 40 mN/m and a finely divided solid hydrophobic filler dispersed in the hydrophobic fluid. The process further involves washing the substrate in an aqueous medium with the detergent composition. The antifoam does not affect foaming during the washing step. During the washing step, the detergent composition is applied to the substrate. The process further involves rinsing the substrate with the applied detergent composition with water, whereby foaming during the rinsing step is inhibited.
COMPOSITION FOR MAKING COMPRESSED CLEANING ARTICLES
The present invention is a cleaning composition including a binder, a gas generator, an acid, and at least about 0.1% water. The cleaning article has an aged Shore A hardness of at least about 10, an aged Shore D hardness of up to about 100, and a dissolution time of between about 1 minute and about 60 minutes.
Iron, rust, and metallic deposit removal product and method of using the same
A composition for removing iron deposits, rust, or metallic particles from a surface, the composition including: at least one reducing agent; at least one chelating agent that changes color upon chelation; and at least one solvent.
Bio-based pot and pan pre-soak
The present invention is a dimensionally stable solid detergent composition which can be used as a soaking composition. The composition includes a bio-based content of 58% or greater and includes an alkalinity source, a metal protector, a surfactant system, water, a threshold agent, and a polysaccharide hybrid polymer composition. The polymer the polysaccharide hybrid polymer composition includes a polysaccharide residue present in an amount from approximately 5% to 90% by weight of the polysaccharide hybrid polymer composition and a residue of at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer or salts thereof present in an amount from approximately 10% to 75% by weight of the polysaccharide hybrid polymer composition.

During the washing step, the detergent composition is applied to the substrate. The process further involves rinsing the substrate with the applied detergent composition with water, whereby foaming during the rinsing step is inhibited.
AQUEOUS COMPOSITION SUITABLE FOR CLEANING AND PROTECTION COMPRISING SILICA NANOPARTICLES, COPOLYMER OF ACRYLAMIDE AND ACRYLIC ACID, NONIONIC AND ANIONIC SURFACTANT
Compositions include a water-soluble polymer, silica nanoparticles, and a combination of a nonionic and anionic dispersed in an aqueous liquid phase. The polymer is a water-soluble copolymer of acrylic acid and an acrylamide, or a salt of the same. Methods of using the compositions to clean and coat a substrate are also disclosed.
METHOD OF REMOVING AN UNWANTED CONSTITUENT FROM A SURFACE, A METHOD OF DETERMINING THE CLEANLINESS OF A HARD SURFACE, AND A MULTI-FUNCTIONAL COMPOSITION THAT INCLUDES HYDROPHILIC SILANE
A method of removing an unwanted constituent from a siliceous surface in which the method includes contacting the siliceous surface and the unwanted constituent with a multi-functional composition that includes water, a hydrophilic silane, and a surfactant, and drying the surface.
