SOLVENT COMPOSITIONS FOR REMOVING PETROLEUM RESIDUE FROM A SUBSTRATE AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
A method of cleaning highway and road construction equipment is disclosed.
CONTROLLED RATE OF FOAM BREAKAGE IN HARD SURFACE CLEANERS
The present invention relates to mildly alkaline bathroom and/or hard surface cleaners providing improved foam performance. In particular, a concentrated, preferably disinfecting, high performance foaming cleaning composition is disclosed which can reduce or eliminate the need for scrubbing on bathroom and other hard surfaces. Methods of use are further disclosed for bathroom and/or other hard surface cleaning. The foam has increased stability for a period of time, followed by dissipation with an audible “crackling” sound and easy rinsability.
Solvent composition and process for removal of asphalt and other contaminant materials
A method and composition for removing contaminant material from industrial equipment are disclosed herein. The method includes providing a solvent composition having methyl soyate, N-methylpyrrolidinone, an additional solvent, and a cationic surfactant. The method also includes contacting the contaminant material with the solvent composition and allowing the solvent composition to react with the contaminant material such that at least a portion of the contaminant material is no longer attached to the industrial equipment.
Use of alkoxylated polyamines to control rheology of unit dose detergent compositions
A method for maintaining a consistent, low viscosity profile of a unit dose detergent composition for enhanced hydration and dissolution upon hydration including the steps of: (1) providing a detergent composition including: 0.4 to 9.6 wt. % of an alkoxylated polyamine including an alkoxylated polyamine, an alkyl-ether sulfate, a linear alkylbenzene sulfonate, and a fatty alcohol ethoxylate, wherein the alkyl-ether sulfate, linear alkylbenzene sulfonate, and fatty alcohol ethoxylate are collectively present in an amount of 30 to 70 wt. %, by weight of the detergent composition; and (2) encapsulating the detergent composition in a pouch made of a water soluble film.
Solvent compositions for removing petroleum residue from a substrate and methods of use thereof
A method of cleaning highway and road construction equipment is disclosed.

STABILIZED ENZYMATIC DETERGENT COMPOSITIONS
The present disclosure relates to a stable, low-foaming enzymatic detergent compositions and methods of making and using the same. In a preferred embodiment, the enzymatic detergent compositions are particularly useful for cleaning medical and dental instruments. In a preferred embodiment, the enzymatic detergent compositions demonstrate stability after storage for at least about 4 weeks and at temperatures greater than room temperature.
A DISINFECTANT AQUEOUS COMPOSITION AND METHOD FOR TREATING SUBSTRATES
The present invention relates to a composition and a method for treating substrates, such as fabrics; in particular a composition that can deliver cleaning and anti-microbial benefits to the fabric thereby delaying laundry. There is a long left need for a composition, which can clean the fabric and deliver anti-microbial benefits without the use of water and detergents. It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a composition with no surfactants in it which can deliver cleaning and anti-microbial benefits through a single product. It has been found that cleaning and anti-microbial benefits on fabric can be achieved by a solvent mix of a glycol ether, a fatty acid ester and a diol in combination with a bipolar antimicrobial particle in an aqueous solution.
Aqueous formulations with good storage capabilities
Aqueous formulations comprising (A) at least one organic complexing agent selected from (A1) alkali metal salts of aminopolycarboxylic acids and (A2) polymers bearing at least two CH.sub.2N(CH.sub.2COOH)-units per molecule, partially or fully neutralized with alkali, (B) at least one salt of at least one of the following acids: nitric acid, sulphuric acid, sulphamic acid, methanesulfonic acid, C.sub.1-C.sub.2-carboxylic acids, C.sub.2-C.sub.4-hydroxymonocarboxylic acids, C.sub.2-C.sub.7-dicarboxylic acids, unsubstituted or substituted with hydroxyl, and C.sub.4-C.sub.6-tricarboxylic acids, each unsubstituted or substituted with hydroxyl, (C) at least one compound selected from (C1) phosphoric acid C.sub.2-C.sub.10-monoalkyl esters, (C2) a C.sub.3-C.sub.10-alkynol, optionally alkoxylated with one to 10 alkoxide groups per hydroxyl group, and (C3) a C.sub.4-C.sub.10-alkynediol, optionally alkoxylated with one to 10 alkoxide groups per hydroxyl group, said aqueous formulations having pH values in the range of from 7.5 to 10.
Cleaning solvent compositions and their use
A cleaning solvent composition comprises from about 0.2 to 15 weight percent of mono- or di-phosphate ester in free acid form, and from about 85 to 99.8 weight percent of one or more halogenated hydrocarbon solvents. Other cleaning solvent compositions further comprise one or more alcohols. For example, such alcohol-containing compositions may comprise from about 0.2 to 15 weight percent of mono- or di-phosphate ester in free acid form, from about 2 to about 25 weight percent of one or more alcohols, and from about 25 to about 97.8 weight percent of one or more halogenated hydrocarbon solvents.
