Dyed Coated Bleach Materials
The invention relates to dyed particles of a bleach material that comprise a coating. The invention also relates to the use of the dyed particles in detergent compositions.
Control of sugar evaporator scale using sugar or sugar moieties
Methods of cleaning sugar evaporators with a cleaning composition comprising a sugar or sugar-moiety containing compound are disclosed. The methods are capable of improved scale and fouling removal from treated surfaces, including scale containing calcium oxalate, calcium dihydrogen phosphate, silica and/or other components from sugar evaporators. The methods reduce time required for scale removal without the need for highly alkaline cleaning compositions, elevated temperatures and/or mechanical force applied to the scale.
Remedial composition and treatment method
A remedial composition comprising a soluble silicate, a surfactant, a polyol and water is disclosed. The remedial composition of the present invention is generally intended for use in the treatment of soil, sand, water, fly ash and other mediums that may contain hazardous materials. In one embodiment of the present invention the soluble silicate of the remedial composition has a mole ratio of about 2.6 to about 3.9 moles silicate per mole of alkali metal oxide. In another embodiment of the present invention the remedial composition will have a pH level ranging from about 10.5 to about 11.9. In another embodiment the water component further comprises from about 0.5% to about 15% dissolved oxygen (O.sub.2). In another embodiment of the present invention the remedial composition may be further diluted by adding water to create various solutions comprising about 1 to 300 parts water to 1 part remedial composition.
Transparent extruded toilet soap
The present invention relates to extruded soap bars having improved transparency. Specifically, by balancing the amounts of C.sub.16 (palmitic acid) and C.sub.18 (stearic acid) fatty acids to have a ratio in the final bar of 1, substantially improved transparency is unexpectedly obtained.
WATER-SOLUBLE UNIT DOSE ARTICLE
A water-soluble unit dose article including a water-soluble film and at least a first internal compartment, where the internal compartment includes one or more of a first particle, where the first particle includes between about 45% and about 95% by weight of the first particle of a water-soluble carrier material selected from inorganic alkali metal salts, organic alkali metal salts, inorganic alkaline earth metal salts, organic alkaline earth metal salts, organic acids, carbohydrates, silicates, urea, and mixtures thereof; between about 1% and about 50% by weight of the first particle of a benefit agent; and less than about 20% by weight of the first particle of a surfactant.
WATER-SOLUBLE UNIT DOSE ARTICLE
A multicompartment water-soluble unit dose article that includes at least a first compartment and a second compartment: (a) where the first compartment includes a first composition that is a free-flowing non-compressed particulate composition, and where the first composition includes a fabric softening ingredient; and (b) where the second compartment includes a second composition that is a liquid composition, the liquid composition including less than 5% by weight of the liquid composition of a structuring agent, less than 15% by weight of the unit dose article of water and between 5% and 35% by weight of the unit dose article of non-aqueous solvent; and where the weight ratio of the first composition to the second composition is between 2:1 and 1:25.
SURFACTANTS THAT IMPROVE THE CLEANING OF LIPID-BASED STAINS TREATED WITH LIPASES
Described are compositions and methods relating to the removal of oily stains from fabrics and other surfaces using a lipase in combination with a selected surfactant to mediate the release of fatty acids generated by the lipase. The compositions and methods have application in, e.g., laundry cleaning and dishwashing.
Laundry Composition
A perfume particle composition comprising: at least 10 wt. % of a carrier material which comprises at least one ethoxylate unit derived from biomass; and perfume ingredients.
PROTEIN PARTICLES WITH IMPROVED WHITENESS
The invention provides protein particles having improved whiteness after storage, and powder detergents comprising the particles.
Methyl Fructoside Polyether Amine, Preparation Method Therefor and Use Thereof
The present invention provides a methyl fructoside polyether amine, a preparation method therefor and use thereof, According to the methyl fructoside polyether amine, as a derivative of an alkyl glycoside, provided by the present invention, polyoxyethylene or polyoxypropylene chain links are introduced on the basis of retaining the advantages of safety, no toxicity, no irritation to skin, good biodegradability, good compatibility and the like of the alkyl glycoside, so that the water solubility, flowability and hard water resistance of a product are improved. The methyl fructoside polyether amine has a more excellent emulsifying property, meets the requirements of green and environmental protection, can be used as an emulsifier, a detergent, a foaming agent, a humectant, a thickening agent, a wetting agent, a dispersing agent, a penetrating agent and the like, and is widely used in the daily chemical industry, especially in the field of detergents.
