TRANSPARENT EXTRUDED TOILET SOAP

The present invention relates to extruded soap bars having improved transparency. Specifically, by balancing the amounts of C.sub.16 (palmitic acid) and C.sub.18 (stearic acid) fatty acids to have a ratio in the final bar of 1, substantially improved transparency is unexpectedly obtained.

CLEANING COMPOSITIONS INCLUDING FERMENTED FRUIT SOLUTIONS, BUILDER, AND SURFACTANT

The fermented fruit solutions can contain fruit, sugar and water. Further described herein are methods of making fermented fruit solutions for use with cleaning compositions. The fermented fruit solutions described herein can be used in cleaning compositions including laundry detergents, stain removers, fabric softeners, floor cleaners, bathroom cleaners, dishwashing products, kitchen cleaners, liquid soap, multi-purpose cleaners and the like.

Use of isosorbide monoesters as thickeners

The use of one or more compounds of the formula (I) ##STR00001## in which R is a straight-chain or branched saturated alkyl group having 5 to 11 carbon atoms or a straight-chain or branched mono- or polyunsaturated alkenyl group having 5 to 11 carbon atoms
as thickeners is described. The use is preferably in cosmetic, dermatological or pharmaceutical compositions, in crop protection formulations, in washing or cleaning compositions or in paints or coatings.

Reduced mist alkaline cleaner via the use of alkali soluble emulsion polymers
12281286 · 2025-04-22 · ·

Alkaline sprayable aqueous compositions for cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting are disclosed. In particular, the sprayable compositions include an alkali soluble emulsion polymer, an alkalinity source, a foaming agent, and water. Beneficially, the sprayable cleaning compoistions have reduced misting and are environmentally safe for users to apply. Further the compositions exhibit less running on non-horizontal surfaces than acrylamide-based compositions.

TABLET BINDING COMPOSITIONS
20170002303 · 2017-01-05 · ·

Provided are tablet binding compositions for binding cleaning and/or disinfecting formulation components into tablets. The tablet binding compositions are suitable replacements for traditional tablet binder compounds, such as boric acid or zeolites. The tablet binding compositions provided herein can produce tablets of increased hardness at lower compression forces and, when dissolved, yield solutions of increased clarity compared to some traditional binder compounds. Also provided are processes for preparing the tablet binding compositions and methods for formation of tablets containing the tablet binding compositions.

DETERGENT COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING FERMENTED AMINO ACIDS AND MAILLARD REACTION INHIBITING ENZYMES
20250145913 · 2025-05-08 ·

A detergent composition useful for laundry applications in both unit dose form and non-unit dose form is provided. The detergent composition includes a primary amine source of a fermented amino acid including a reducing sugar and a Maillard reaction inhibiting enzyme that inhibits the reducing sugar from reacting with the primary amine source. The detergent composition which includes the enzyme does not undergo yellowing and thus has an increased shelf-life compared to an equivalent laundry detergent composition that lacks such an enzyme.

Modified Sophorolipids with Enhanced Defoaming Properties
20250154189 · 2025-05-15 ·

The present invention provides modified sophorolipids that can eliminate existing foam and/or prevent the formation of new foam. The modifications including peracetylation and/or global transformation of sophorose hydroxyl groups of sophorolipids to ethers to reduce the HLB value and create biobased defoamers with high biobased carbon content. The present invention also provides compositions comprising modified sophorolipids and methods of using such compositions for inhibiting and/or reducing foam formation.
